Short summary of Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute Of Technology.

Placements: Placement percentage is really high. Good amount of people are placed, and the package is low to high. The highest package offered is 46 LPA. Around 10-12 people got placed in 40s. One from the mechanical department got placed in Honda research center in India for 50+. Average package is around 9 LPA - 10 LPA, and for my department 12 LPA - 14 LPA. Top recruiters are Infosys and others.

It is a good option. Placements are good, but the infrastructure may be disappointing for some.

Placements: I am from the computer science branch, and I would say placements are good here. This is the oldest branch of Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Technology, and therefore, we get more connections and support from trusted people in the tech society. Therefore, we get more company placement drives. A decent number of students are able to secure placements if they maintain good skills. Around 60-70 percent of eligible students got placed last time, according to our seniors. Companies like TCS, Infosys, W...

Good placements, small campus.

Placements: Many people in Maharashtra know about the placements offered by this college. Placements are offered in a good number, and almost 90-95% students are placed on campus. The highest package offered yet is of 70 LPA, offered in 2023 to a mechanical student. In 2025, yet 3 students have been offered 40 LPA, which is the highest for 2025 yet.

Good placements, supportive faculty, and a balanced campus life.

Placements: In my college, there are 70-80% of students placed. The highest package is 56 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and average package is 7 LPA - 8 LPA. Mass recruiters like Cognizant and many more are coming for placements and take the students in quantity, like 150-200 students.

Not much satisfied with curriculum, good placements for Software branches, and good infrastructure.

Placements: The placement rate is about 85-90% of those who applied for placements. The highest is 70 LPA, with the lowest of 2.5-3 LPA and an average of 4.5-6 LPA. The placements are quite good for the software field. Most of the companies offer packages more than 10 LPA, you might need at least more than 70% in your 10th, 12th, and more than 7.5 CGPA.

College is decent according to placements, 85% placements, faculty and staff are average and good.

Placements: 85% of students were placed last year. The highest package is 70 LPA. Cognizant, Accenture, Capgemini, and Infosys are main companies. About 50 students got internships. The roles offered by companies are data science and development. Placements are strong, with reputed companies visiting the campus and a good placement rate, especially in tech and core branches.

Certainly, aspirants might wait and target the next cutoff for better alternatives at DY Patil Pimpri via MAH CET. Candidates aiming for the next cutoff round may have to accept the risk of losing their allotted seat in the existing round. Because of the limited seats available, the remaining candid
