Placements: Best placement for mechanical engineering as well as computer engineering for 2025, there is an average placement for mechanical engineering of about 6 lacs, and computer engineering is an average of 8 to 10 lacs rupees. The very best college for placements and nice placement opportunities is there for the future.
Infrastructure: Best hostels feature nice campuses, with the 9th hostel offering good food and all essential facilities, such as washing machines, Wi-Fi, security, night clocks, and a nighttime blocking system. We have a puri stall. The hostel has excellent security on weekends, along with various special sports activities available.
Faculty: Semester exams are very challenging, and all exams depend on our HCP. SPPU is the best platform for students to take their exams, but the difficulty level is high. It's tough to clear all the points in the examination, and from this, only those in engineering can become the best engineers.

Better, but not the best. Better placement, best faculty, facilities, and good infrastructure.
Placements: 60% of students are placed in my batch, the highest package is 15 LPA, and the minimum is 3.5 LPA. Accenture and Infosys, minimum students get internship opportunities like 25%. The top role is GET Engineer, and placements are getting better. As the T&P officer is one of the best and is among the top list of offices.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not highly equipped but decent. It has Wi-Fi, AC, etc. Facilities are average and not on the best side. The infrastructure is now getting better than previously. There was no space for parking, and we had to park on the road as well and it is getting developed.
Faculty: Faculty is knowledgeable and on the good side, but they are not much ready for industry. They try hard, but it mostly depends on students. For the current mechanical branch, they are disastrous. Overall, the course is very theoretical and generally develops on theory, with practical insight developing as experience comes years.
Other: Due to my percentile, I selected mechanical engineering. Improvement should be made in practical exposure mostly. There are yearly events and fests, but they are not much funded by the college.

Review of Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute Of Technology.
Placements: The students who scored an 8.5 CGPA in the year and have 75 above attendance get placed. Students skills are good and the average package is 7 LPA. The highest package is 70 LPA. Many companies hire students in technical and core subjects. 80-85% of students get placed in good companies with good packages.
Infrastructure: Facilities are best, and they give other best things to students. Library, classes, Wi-Fi, and lab are also best. The canteen and hostel of our college are the best. The infrastructure is too good and has all facilities.
Faculty: Teachers provide their best quality which helps the students to study. The semester difficulty is medium not much hard if you study. So you can prepare for the exam and passing mark is 28 in each subject. They take unit tests and prelims before the semester for practice. Teachers are very well and all have more than 8 years of experience at teaching.
Other: In the mechanical department, there are more changes as compared to the technical branch to get placed because in our branch the company came to higher the women's and it's good for them and for us also. The fests and events on our campus are the best and crowd is too good. They provide scholarships as well.

Very good Placements in 2022.
Placements: In 2022, from the Mechanical branch, the highest package offered to a student named Saurav Pawar was 70 LPA in Machine Learning. My college has above-average placements. In 2024, despite the recession, many students were placed in good companies like Infosys, Accenture, and many more with good packages around 5 to 30 LPA.
Infrastructure: I would say that for the fees you are paying, the infrastructure is well-maintained. Even though our campus is very small, it is neat and clean. There is ample space for parking, and there are 4-5 lifts to use. The washrooms are clean and well-maintained.
Faculty: Most of the teachers here are very knowledgeable in their respective subjects, but some of them are a bit arrogant and lack teaching skills. Still, every faculty member tries to clear all the doubts and queries of students. We also have one teacher guardian for every 20 students.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in the mechanical branch, especially aerospace. The management of my college is just average, and they should improve it.

It is a well-known college with great infrastructure and teaching facilities.
Placements: Around 50-60% of students got placed in 2024 in our mechanical course. The highest salary package offered by a core company in our course is 70 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 4 LPA - 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiters for our course are Ashok Leyland, Tata, and JSW visit the college. Around 70% of students got internships from our course in core companies. Top roles offered are design engineer, production engineer, and many more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. It gives an aesthetic look. There is a Wi-Fi facility for students. Classrooms are advanced and have smart boards and air conditioning. Labs are well-maintained and have many machines. There is no sports ground on the college campus or other to play games. The hostel is also good. I don't know because I live in PG. A canteen is available on the college campus. Medical facilities are available outside the college campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and doctorates. They have high knowledge which they give to students. The teaching quality is very good. This course curriculum is relevant and prepares students to survive in the industry with basic knowledge. The difficulty level of exams is not very difficult. The passing percentage is around 80-90%.

Good placement in 2024, decent Infrastructure, strict rules, and less practical knowledge.
Placements: I think the T&P cell of our college is one of the best cells in Pune. The average salary package was around 4-5 LPA. However, number of companies visiting our campus is impressive. Nearly 90% of the students who apply for placement secure jobs with good packages. Companies like Amazon, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, Ashok Leyland, and Adani visit our campus. Our college has an excellent placement rate and provides great exposure as well.
Infrastructure: College campus is relatively small, covering a total of five acres. It houses a pharmacy college, an MBA-MCA college, and an engineering college on the same premises. Engineering college occupies three acres of the campus. Campus provides facilities such as a canteen, a library, and a separate study room. Wi-Fi facilities are also available on the campus. Hostel facilities are provided, but the hostels are located outside the campus area.
Faculty: Faculty members are quite helpful and knowledgeable. Many of them are PhD. holders, which gives them excellent field knowledge. Teaching quality is decent. Since college is affiliated with Pune University, its course curriculum follows the SPPU-based structure. However, syllabus is quite outdated. Industry has advanced a lot, but the old syllabus does not prepare students well for current industry demands. Students need to put in extra effort on their own to secure good jobs. We have two semesters in a year, with two exams per semester. First is the In-Sem exam, carrying 30 marks for each subject. Second is the End-Sem exam, which carries 70 marks for each subject. Additionally, there are 25 marks for moral education and 50 marks for practical exams.
Other: I chose this course because I want to pursue a career in the mechanical engineering industry. This course provides good theoretical knowledge and decent basic practical knowledge in the field. However, syllabus content and marking system can be improved. Course could be designed to include more practical knowledge. Campus vibes are positive. There are many clubs to join in the college. Various events and fests are organized every year on the campus. Crowd is active and engaging. Numerous extracurricular and co-curricular activities take place annually, including cultural events, tech fests, Shivajayanti celebrations, and hackathons. College also offers scholarships to students from different castes and economically weaker sections to help them pay their college fees.

Good facilities, good faculty.
Placements: 109 students were placed from campus. The highest package last year was 24 Lacs per annum and the average was 3 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies of last year were Siemens, JSW, Google, Wipro, Barclays, and Adani Group. Students need to find off-campus internships.
Infrastructure: Air-conditioned classrooms, all subject books are available in the library, practical labs of required subjects, and free Wi-Fi are available. Network issues can occur on some floors. Hostel rent is a bit expensive, but they have all the facilities a student might need.
Faculty: Faculty teaches each and every topic with details, and question banks are given before exams. Field trips to factories for more practical knowledge. The college is certified by NAAC and many more. All faculty helps with doubts. Mock practicals and viva are taken before final exams.
Other: The best thing about this course is that students get more practical knowledge. The college holds many events and clubs from which students can learn and enjoy, both at the same time.

Placements: Recently, the students of the 2023 batch got placed for an international placement in machine learning at the highest package of INR 70 Lacs per annum from the Mechanical Engineering Department. The college infrastructure is very good. Teachers support for students and teaching is understandable. Average placement is INR 6-7 Lacs per annum. Many students from the 2022 batch were hired by multinational corporations such as Microsoft. Nearly 90% of students get placement from this college.
Infrastructure: There are various clubs that help students develop their skills, such as entrepreneurship development, GDSE, Interceptors, etc. The college library is well equipped with its infrastructure and number of books. Labs are also well furnished with modern equipment.
Faculty: Faculty are very supportive, and teaching quality is excellent. All the syllabus is being covered in college itself. As it is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, semester exams are quite tough but can be cleared by regular study and hard work. It makes students industry-ready.
