Not worth the money because of less practical knowledge and not being industry-ready.
Placements: 50%-60% of students got placed. The highest package is 45 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Recruiting companies are Samsung, Intel, Adani, etc. Few students have got into BARC, Tata Motors, etc. Top roles include software developer, embedded system engineer, data analyst, consultant, project manager, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library have been provided. Hostel is very costly and well-maintained like a 5 star hotel but the food isn't that good and not worth the money because cooking facilities, gym, laundry nothing is available and has strict rules.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable but don't have the proper teaching skills. Students get bored easily in class and attendance drops eventually. It doesn't make students industry-ready They need to go for other courses outside. Exams are easy to pass. Pass percentage in our course is 90%.
Other: I chose this course because I thought it would be a great field of study but eventually, I regret my decision. The practical learning should be improved. College fests and events are good.

It is not worth the money, but the infrastructure is good.
Placements: About 80% of students get placed. The highest package is 70 LPA (international), while the lowest is 3 LPA. Companies like Bosch, Adani, and Samsung. Internships are available at BARC, TATA, and Philips, but the percentage is low, as the college doesn't support much. The roles include software developers, consultants, and R&D engineers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, with Wi-Fi labs, classrooms, a library, a canteen, and workshop rooms. The hostel is very luxurious but expensive. The mess food is not good. There are no sports or game facilities available in the hostels, and the hostel rules are very strict.
Faculty: Faculty members are good but not very helpful. They have their favorites. No, they do not make students industry-ready, as only theoretical knowledge is provided. The exams are easy to pass, but scoring good is difficult. The pass percentage is 90%, and most students pass.
Other: I chose this course because of the boost in the future. It should have more practical experience, and projects should be sponsored by the college. The crowd is not that decent, and events and fests have a low budget.

The college has good placements and faculty.
Placements: 80% of students got placed. The highest package till now is 45 LPA and 70 LPA. International Adani, Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, and Philips are the top recruiters for the electronics core branch. Top roles offered as R&D engineers, software developers, and verification engineers.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, libraries, departmental seminar halls, and workshops, which is good, but it is somewhat pricey. The food quality is poor, and there are strict timings that make it feel like it's not worth the money spent. The hostel experience is lacking, and the overall atmosphere is minimal in terms of fun, as it seems tailored for affluent students.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful. Students often need to take courses outside the institution to be industry-ready. The exams are relatively easy, with a pass percentage of just 40 out of 100. Unfortunately, students do not gain sufficient industry experience, and practical activities are limited, leading to mostly boring lectures.
Other: I was not interested in IT so I chose a core branch. Better learning and practical lessons are required. Events are average. The crowd is also good.

I am satisfied with the college because of the faculty members, placements, and study environment.
Placements: DYPIT is always better from the placement perspective. A large number of companies visit the campus including MNCs as well as popular ones. It gives very good opportunity to average and above-average students to get placed and it also provides higher chances to get placed.
Infrastructure: There is availability of a small area but it has beautiful architecture on the campus. On campus, there are engineering, pharmacy, and MBA colleges with a canteen. The quality of food is above average. There are hostels available for girls and boys with good quality of service and food.
Faculty: The course curriculum is declared by SPPU University and includes foundation subjects required for every engineer. The whole syllabus is informative and industry-oriented. Faculty members provide great support. Every faculty member has either completed a master's in their respective field or are PhD holder in their subjects. Many faculty members have their ongoing PhDs. Internal exams are university-oriented and help in preparation for semester exams.
Other: E&TC engineering is an emerging domain in today's world, so I chose it. Colleges like D Y Patil will be a great opportunity for students to make their first steps in the industry. Other than academics, events like Sanskriti, Parakram, Zion, etc., are happening each year. During the whole year, there are different hackathons, department levels, and college-level events and functions. Here, there are many chances to interact with new people and get known to the unknown.

The college is about studying. It concentrates on placements and the improvement of students.
Placements: The ENTC branch has the best placement among other branches, with almost 90% of students being placed. The lowest package is about 2 LPA and the highest is 70 LPA. Off-campus, the average package is 5-6 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Google, and Adidas are among the top recruiters. Most of the internships are provided by the college.
Infrastructure: Facilities are well provided like washrooms, canteen, and library, etc. The campus is very small, and there is no ground. Also, the location is not that safe. The hostel is very good, and the food provided is also very nice. As for sports and games, there are events, and during that time, we get to play sports.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, but some are not good at teaching. But most teachers are very good at teaching. The course curriculum is very relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are decent, as they are under SPPU, and papers are selected by SPPU.
Other: ENTC is the fastest-growing branch. It provides technical and non-technical knowledge. Events are decent, but the crowd is very bad, and the surrounding area is not good.

Detailed review of DY Patil Institute of Technology (DYPIT) Pimpri, Pune.
Placements: The campus placements are great with an average package of 6 LPA. The highest international placement was 72 LPA and for domestic it was 45 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Capgemini, Cognizant, Infosys, and TCS. Around 40% of students secure internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is so good with modern architecture and highly maintained hygiene and cleanliness. There are Wi-Fi's everywhere on the campus. There is also a study hall near the library where you can sit and do your own work. The college has no residential facilities, so there is no hostel on the campus.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified with Ph.D. degrees and are supportive and easy to approach. The teaching is also good. The course syllabus feels a little too old as it is not updated by the university. The semester exams are easy to score if you study even a little and attend the classes. The passing percentage is 40% of the total marks.
Other: I was interested in learning about semiconductors and chipsets, that's why I chose this course. The syllabus should be updated to match the industry requirements. There are many fests and events happening in the college which makes our college life fun and immersive.

Curriculum, faculty, and college life at Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Technology, Pimpri, Pune.
Placements: Almost 90 percent of the total students eligible for placement get placed. The average package is 5-6 Lacs, and the highest package is 70 Lacs. Placement is entirely dependent on students and how much hard work they put into it. This year, companies like Mercedes, Airtel, etc., visited for campus placement.
Infrastructure: All the essential facilities, such as labs, Wi-Fi, library, etc., are provided and well-maintained. Spacious classrooms are available for lectures. Labs are well-equipped and maintained. Hostel accommodation is available but is costly, although it is well-maintained and hygienic. The mess food is average, not like home.
Faculty: Curriculum is a little hectic. You will have to complete lots of assignments, manuals, files, etc., every semester. You have to give two unit tests, an insem, a prelim, and an end semester exam each semester (5 exams). Some teachers are well-qualified and excellent, while others are boring.
Other: The college has no campus, no grounds; only buildings are there. Also, there is a time limitation in the hostel. So if you want to enjoy college life, it's better to rent a PG nearby.

Good infrastructure and good placement facilities.
Placements: Almost all of the students are applying and trying their best to get the best company. The highest package was INR 45 LPA, the lowest was INR 4.5 LPA, and the average is around INR 8 LPA. The top companies are Amz, Adobe, etc. The top roles are core roles or software roles helping with placement.
Infrastructure: Excellent facilities are there all over, with good labs and Wi-Fi connections available. The quality of the food is also good, and the rooms are also excellent, with good space for all. This helped a lot to grow me in my overall development, and I always had a good, knowledgeable time here.
Faculty: Helpful faculty members good knowledge teachers and always a helping hand for me as was always a needful candidate around the teachers they helped me a lot and had a versatile knowledge around all the domains and around all the phase of life and it helped me a lot .
Other: I liked the course and all the activities we had, and I loved the core thing.
