About Dyal Singh College and DU.
Placements: If you are solely coming for the placements offered by the college, that is fine. But for that, you have to build a good skill set. It is important everywhere, so it is nothing new. Without the required skills, college placements are of little value. Many good companies do visit the college for recruitment.
Infrastructure: I would rate the infrastructure 4 out of 5 because it is a subjective thing. It depends on many factors, such as your friends, the society you spend time with, and many other things. Infrastructure cannot be judged by a single factor. The college provides basic facilities like clean drinking water, and since it is located in a very posh area, you can expect good facilities. The canteen is very good. I personally like the canteen of this college because I have visited many college canteens and found this one to be among the best.
Faculty: Talking about faculty members, it basically depends on the course you are studying. To be honest, Delhi University faculty members are not equally good in every department, but you can find many good faculty members in this college, as I have experienced. It is not possible that every faculty member is equally good. Try to maintain a respectful relationship with professors. Do not cross professional boundaries, understand the hierarchy, and be friendly with them.

Good college but decent life.
Placements: There is a limited number of students who get placed in the college. Most students opt for higher studies, so for placement, hardly 200-250 students are available. The package offered is around 5 LPA-6 LPA don't keep a lot of expectations in regard to placements.
Infrastructure: The college offers a decent infrastructure. It's not great but not bad at the same time. Renovation work is going on at present in the college. There is a library and sports facilities available, such as basketball, football, and cricket. There is also NCC ground.
Faculty: The faculty and curriculum are not different from the other DU colleges, although they are helpful and chill. They teach very well and the college is altogether helpful and it is fairly easy to pass the semester exam. The passing percentage is high, although the internals have great weightage.

A decent college under budget.
Placements: Dyal Singh College has an average placement ranging from 4 LPA to 6 LPA and placement is mainly given to those who already have some other skills such as an internship, society work, etc., and extracurricular activities.
Infrastructure: DSC has the largest library among DU colleges making it convenient for students to have a safeguard and peaceful environment. It has good canteen facilities, separate male and female washrooms, medical facilities, sports, etc.
Faculty: Faculty are really helpful offering continuous support and guidance throughout the course. The curriculum has been designed according to the students' needs and required knowledge. The semester exams are easy to moderate not too difficult if you have gone through the syllabus.
Other: Anyone who is looking for a decent college with good infrastructure and crowd can definitely choose Dyal Singh for their higher education. The college will not disappoint you.

The college has good placement, good infrastructure, and good faculty.
Placements: Around 60-70% get placed every year. The highest package of 2024 was around 24 LPA, and the median was 5 LPA. KPMG and Deloitte were some top recruiters. The top roles offered in my college are sales intern, HR intern, and many more managerial roles.
Infrastructure: This college offers decent infrastructure for the B.Com course. Classrooms are spacious, library facility is provided, decent food facility at the canteen. They provide stationery inside the college.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, and the peer group is also very competitive and supportive. Teachers go out of their way to help students. They help in building confidence and boosting morale. The teaching quality is good. Teachers make the concepts easy to understand. The curriculum too is very relevant and practical. The pass percentage is 40%.

The campus is big, and connectivity is good.
Placements: The placement percentage is around 30–40%. The highest package is 36 LPA, and the average package is around 5–6 LPA. Top recruiting companies include the Big 4 firms like KPMG, EY, Deloitte, and PwC. The Placement Cell is very active. Around 200–300 students get internships every year in companies like Zomato, Swiggy, and various startups. The profiles offered include HR, Social Media Marketing, and Finance roles.
Infrastructure: The canteen in our college is good. The library has a good collection of books. There are many sports facilities, and Wi-Fi is available with unlimited network access. However, the college does not have any hostel facilities. Students have to stay in PGs or rented flats in nearby areas like Lajpat Nagar, South Extension, and Amar Colony.
Faculty: Teachers are very good. They help, and teachers are very knowledgeable too. But the structure of their course is old. They have given us so many things that have changed long ago. There is a need to change the books, and the study needs to be made interesting. There is a need to provide maximum real-life examples in the account subject. The syllabus of the account subject is the oldest. You will pass on 26 credits.
Other: I am interested in money management, which is why I selected the course. I wanted to come to Delhi University, that's why I came to the college. The metro station and bus stop are very close to here, which means if you come out of the college, you will reach the metro station and bus stop as well. The syllabus of accounts needs to be changed a bit. Otherwise, our Dayal Singh College crowd is very large.

A college you should surely consider.
Placements: The placement of Dyal Singh College is good. It has an active placement cell connected with big companies. The top recruiters are EY, Accenture, Snapdeal, PwC, and KPMG. The highest, the lowest and the average packages of our college are 36.5 LPA, 3 LPA and 6 LPA, respectively. Overall, the placements are good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Dyal Singh College is good. It has big grounds, NCC ground, seminar hall, library, labs, sports facilities, an affordable canteen, girls' room, numerous classrooms, amphi-theatre for events and practices, auditorium and a vibrant environment. Overall, the infrastructure is good.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful. They clear doubts and are not biased while giving marks. They are well qualified, knowledgeable and experienced. The curriculum of the course is also good. It is systemized, and useful subjects are taught, which are helpful for a career and future jobs. Exams are also conducted in a systematic manner with good invigilation.
Other: Overall, the college is good, whether for academics, campus life or infrastructure. It has numerous societies for each interest, like drama society, dance society, music society, entrepreneurship society, mental well-being society, content creation society, etc.

Overall nice college, great teachers and good placement rate.
Placements: The placement of Dyal Singh is quite good as many of the seniors got placed in big MNCs, but not all courses like B.Com have very good placement. The B.Com H course has good placement as last year a senior got 48 LPA from Dyal Singh. The top companies are Genpact, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, and PwC.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Dyal Singh is moderate, not very good, but better than many off-campus colleges and the campus is quite large. Washrooms are quite dirty and old. Classrooms are good, but a few of them need repair. There is no hostel facility in Dyal Singh College.
Faculty: Faculty members are great in Dyal Singh College. They are supportive, and their teaching style is good. It feels like you are in Delhi University. The semesters are not very tough. Even 2-3 weeks of good study can help you get more than 9 CGPA. The college is also active in extracurricular activities.
Other: So, Dyal Singh has many pros and cons. The prons are: metro connectivity - just outside the college. Great teachers who are well-qualified and supportive as well. Dyal Singh is very active in sports for those who are interested. The fee is very low for almost all courses. The canteen food is nice in Dyal Singh College. The crowd is very active and a nice. The cons are, the infrastructure of Dyal Singh is average; it needs to be repaired. Students who are interested in sports can come to this college.

Good placements, the highest package is in the year 2024, good infrastructure, no hostel facility.
Placements: Placements are quite good, but not so high. You can expect placement around 4 LPA-5 LPA after completing graduation. The highest package of our college was 23.5 LPA in the year 2024. The package in 2020 was 20 LPA. If you expect a really high package, then this college is not for you.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Our college is divided into two buildings. One is for morning, and one is for evening. There is a canteen, library, playgrounds, NCC ground, and basketball court in our college. But no hostel is available. The college campus is smaller than most of the DU colleges.
Faculty: The teachers are really good. They are helpful, knowledgeable, and they teach us very well. Teachers treat us as their own children. The course curriculum is relevant from my point of view. Semester exams are really hard. But students are also very smart, most of the students pass the exams easily.
Other: There is one problem with college. Generally, no fests and events take place in college.

No, you cannot take entrepreneurship in best four and if you do so you would have to deduct 2.5% from your score. Calculate your percentage by both including and excluding entrepreneurship and then see from which method you score high.
