Gargi has a good infrastructure but bad faculty but still it's a dream college for many.

Placements: In my class, there were 70 students. There is not much placement for Hindi department so apparently nobody got placed after doing Bachelors in Hindi hons. There were some small placements but unfortunate there is no big placement for Bachelor students with arts stream.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of gargi is quite nice because it looks amazing, it has big ground, NCC department, big and beautiful auditorium. Overall infrastructure is good just there is one problem and tgat is number of washrooms there, like there is no washrooms on ground floor or first floor so it's a big problem.

Faculty: Teachers were not helpful at all infact I thought they treat us like an enemy who wants to ruin our career just for their satisfaction. They were qualified indeed a Ph.D. and knowledgeable too but they didn't have teaching aptitude (I'm talking about only my department). This course curriculum is relevant if you want to pursue your career in Hindi ahead so after Bachelors you can go for Masters and doing Bachelors in Hindi actually prepare a base for you in Hindi language. Semester exams are moderate in level and the pass percentage is 33% which is easy to target.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue my career in Hindi and also I had interest in literature. The best thing about this course is you actually start to believe that Hindi is not just a literature bit it also has psychology, history, political Science, gk etc. In itself and it's a beautiful language which everyone should learn after being an indian because it is our heritage. But I want to improve one thing about this course, I want some big placements for this course and just because of lack of placements students don't opt this course. Events and fests are famous of gargi college in whole Delhi. College also provides scholarship for its students and other equipments like laptop etc. Also there is no hostel in gargi college which is also a big problem.

Overall, it is a great college.

Placements: There are about 67 students in my batch. As we were part of the literature department, to be honest, the placement facilities weren't available for us, but as a part of college society, we had other opportunities. The commerce department of our college has good placement facilities because they provide good internships too.

Infrastructure: In Gargi, the classrooms are quite clean. The washrooms are clean. They provide sanitary services in medical labs at very reasonable prices. We had water coolers too for drinking water, and the food in the canteen was prepared with hygiene. Labs are well-organised and equipped.

Faculty: The passing percentage is as per the DU curriculum, and you can assume you have to get a minimum of 1/3 of your total marks per paper. Teachers are truly helpful when it comes to any difficulty, be it academics or non-academics. The course is both theoretical and practical (internal assessment is theory-based).

Other: During events, the student union is quite active and manages the event well. Scholarships are available from DU, and half of the fee will be refunded to the eligible candidates with a family income of below 1 LPA.

Faculty is the best, placement is poor.

Placements: Placement cell of Gargi college in B.A. Hindi course is very poor. Rarely any company visits for the recruitment of students. The placement department is not so active. A very few students get the chance of getting placed but even of they, the package is very low.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really very nice. It is one of the finest infrastructures among the colleges of Delhi University. The space and the surrounding is quite friendly. The classrooms and the infrastructure of the Hindi Sahitya Parishad is eye catching.

Faculty: Faculty is very much nice. It's quite supportive and cooperative to the students. Professors are dedicated towards providing quality education to the students. Apart from text books, they also focus on skill enhancement of the students through learning Hindi language.

So amazing anyone who want to study with fun life this is the best coll.

Placements: 85 % of students were placed in my course and the package is also good the highest package is about 15 Lacs per annum and the lowest is about 5 lash per annum the teachers are amazing There qualification is high they give additional knowledge also how to become a good human being.

Infrastructure: Library is so good full Wi-Fi and labs are also so hostel quality also so good and the canteen food is too delicious and f

Faculty: Teacher are very helpful teaching quality is too good Semester exams are not too difficult the way teachers teach it is to easy too clear exam very easily. The passing percentage is 30%and the way teacher teach every topic they studied very clearly they clear all doubts personally they are very helpful .

Other: Event is organized on very large scale so amazing .

Register and Apply
Interested candidates have to register online with required information. Non-refundable online registration fee is a mandate without which candidate’s application would not be considered for further processing. Candidate has to select preferred course at the time of registration, there is no limit on the maximum number of courses in which the candidate can apply and there is no additional fee for applying in multiple courses. Final Selection
Admission is based on the marks obtained in qualifying exam. Selected list of admitted candidates would be displayed on the DU admission portal. Admission is confirmed only if online admission fee is paid with in the stipulated time. One candidate can take admission only in one course in one college at any given time.
