GITAM School of Core Engineering Hyderabad admissions cycle for 2026 has come to an end. The entire process is online and are done on the basis of the entrance exams. For BTech, the accepted exams for admissions are GAT, JEE Main, AP EAPCET and TS EAPCET. For MTech, the accepted exams were GAT PGT, GATE & AP PGECET. The admission process for GITAM School of Core Engineering Hyderabad are given below:

• Qualify Exam: Students needed to qualify entrance exam, JEE Main / AP EAPCET / TS EAPCET (for BTech) and GATE (for MTech) or GITAM GAT
• Register: Students need to register via the official website for BTech and MTech couses. Last phase registration closed on July 24, 2026 and final GAT exam was on July 26, 2026.
• Counselling and Seat Confirmation: The shortlisted candidates attend an online counselling, select GITAM Hyderabad and preferred branch, and pay seat Acceptance Fee to freeze seat.
• Final Admission: Students need to report to campus for document verification and balance fee payment.

Additionally, GITAM GAT 2027 registration will tentatively start in November.

Sports & Labs: GITAM Hyderabad includes advanced BTech labs for CSE, ECE, Mechanical and Civil with AI/ML, VLSI, 3D Printing and Aerospace Wind Tunnel facilities, along with cricket ground, basketball, tennis and gym facilities.

Hostel: The hostel is open to all BTech students. The hostels are separate for boys and girls and are single-seated, double-seated, triple-seated and 6-sharing with AC and Non-AC options.

Library: Both students and faculty members can use the library. Dr. Yellapragada Subbarao Central Library with 50,000+ books, journals and digital resources that may be needed and borrowed are present in the institute library.

Medical: GITAM Hyderabad includes a health care center that provides 24/7 ambulance and dispensary services with visiting doctors.

Bank & ATM: INDIAN BANK and ICICI BANK offers banking services at GITAM Hyderabad through its Branch and ATMs which is located on the Institute's property.
