Review of GMCH Chandigarh - Government Medical College and Hospital.
Placements: There are a total of 16 seats in our course. The salary package offered depends on the hospital and the job you are doing, whether it is government, contract, or private job. The starting salary offered for a government job ranges from Rs. 45,000-50,000 per month. The starting salary offered for a contract job ranges from Rs. 20,000-30,000 per month.The starting salary offered for a private job ranges from Rs. 10,000-15,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good in the course and department. Every facility is given to the students as well as doctors to teach and take care of patients, staff, and the public. The hostel facility is good. Huge rooms are given to the students depending on the degree and students. Every game like basketball, cricket, volleyball, football and table tennis is available in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-educated in their respective courses. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. College exams are difficult according to the degree. We have to score atleast 50% to pass the theory exams.
