GMR universe amazing star.
Placements: In 2024, 130 out of 180 students in the graduating class were placed. The highest package was 7.5 LPA, the lowest was 4 LPA, and the average package was 4 LPA. Recruiting companies included LNT, BOSCH, TCE, and JSW. Courses offered in mechanical engineering include mechanical with robotics, piping engineering, and CFD Ansys.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. It was green and had a lot of plants. The classrooms were good and had CCTV surveillance. They had projectors and the labs were good and had air conditioning. The faculty were excellent and had a lot of experience. The only downside was that the hostel food was not very good.
Faculty: The faculty here are very knowledgeable and experienced. They have completed their PhDs and have an average of 10 years of experience in their respective departments. The faculty are all natives of northern India, and some are Telugu. They deliver their lectures in English only.
Other: I completed my diploma in mechanical engineering and chose GMRIT to continue my studies in the same field. The college has a good reputation, and its mechanical engineering program is highly regarded. The college also has good placement opportunities, with top companies recruiting students. The average package offered is 4 LPA, which is quite competitive. However, students need to work on their communication skills to be successful in the job market. The college fest is well organized, and the mechanical engineering department hosts a very interesting event. The college also has a variety of stalls available for students to visit.

Life at GMRIT (college life).
Placements: GMRIT provides a good quality of education, has many collaborations with other companies and provides more placements and internship opportunities in other countries, such as Amazon, L and T, etc. Every year, 90 percent of the students are placed in the college by various companies .
Infrastructure: GMRIT provides good facilities to the students and hostel students. There is a gym and sports arena for the physical fitness of the students and there is a library in which we get books and a study room for studying. The food in the hostel is also very good in quality .
Faculty: The faculty in the GMRIT are very highly qualified professors who have studied NITs & IITs; they have good teaching skills; they are very friendly and available for the students anytime; they provide notes and explain in a way that students understand easily.
Other: This mechanical course has good industrial jobs and this is a core branch in which one can gain good knowledge. I have some interest in the design sector of the mechanical stream. GMRIT conducts fests and an annual day for students every year; they can perform cultural events at these events.
