It has a bad campus, but good departments.
Placements: I think most people from my course pursue a master's rather than getting a placement. So can't comment on this. But people from other courses do get placed, I think. Our placement cell keeps posting internship opportunities from EY, etc. I do not know placements of other courses.
Infrastructure: The college campus is small. Washroom conditions are abysmal. There is no Wi-Fi on campus as far as I know. The food is nice. The library doesn't let us bring our own books from outside. Microbiology classes happen in labs rather than classrooms. The college has 3,000 students, but it has way more students.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, and some don't know how to teach. Semester exams are quite easy in my opinion, with direct questions and very basic. The course itself is really fun and covers microbiology properly. One of the few good teachers in this department is retiring next year.
Other: The college administration should be less strict, and we have little to no freedom to organise anything. The infrastructure and bathrooms should be improved. Societies are nice. The crowd is very dull for some reason.

Canteen is not good, infrastructure is not big, there is no AC and no Wi-Fi. Overall, dissatisfied.
Placements: I do not see companies coming for student placements. Teachers are not supportive. The internship rate is zero percent. I do not know any roles offered by my course. From the placement and internship point of view, it is very disappointing because both are at 0%. All in all, it is bad.
Infrastructure: It is average, not too good. There is no Wi-Fi facility in the college, and the network area is poor. There are no proper facilities. The food tastes bad, and the canteen is not good. The cafeteria is expensive. Nescafe is very costly for daily use and doesn’t taste good. All in all, it is average.
Faculty: Teachers are not very friendly, they are strict. Though teachers are qualified, some of them have poor teaching quality. This course feels uncertain, and if it doesn’t bear fruit in the future, it will be disappointing. Exams are of moderate to difficult level.
Other: Events are below average, and fests are just okay, not too good.

Absolutely satisfied but renovation should take place in the college.
Placements: Moreover, for our course, I don't think that college plays a role in placement but you can get placement from commerce and arts background, they have a high chance to get placement from the college, and even the science students can get the placement if they know their (commerce)fields.
Infrastructure: We don't have any lecture room, our department has three labs only, so at least one LT should be allowed to us. Washrooms are not in great condition. In summer the water purifier becomes slow because of excessive loads, so more purifiers should be installed.
Faculty: Faculty members are very qualified and experienced. They are strict and straightforward forward tell you to study hard whereas they are just like others. The course curriculum is relevant and it's easy to grasp. The semester examination is not that tough, but for a good CGPA, one should give full time to it.

College Life Struggles and Experiences
Placements: The students are highly placed in the placement drive. The top companies basically create an interactive session during the drive in which they select students. The highest package was 23 LPA by the top company. The roles depend on the course and the department that the students are aiming to select.
Infrastructure: We don't have a hostel on our college campus; students usually take PGs if they are not living with their parents and are coming from another state. The course and the infrastructure are highly organized. The laboratories are well-maintained, and the equipment is in good working condition.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and highly qualified; they have all completed their research work and PhD level studies. The course curriculum is relevant, and all the subjects are useful for our future goals. The semester exam level is moderate, and the pass percentage is almost full in our college.
Other: I have a keen interest in studying microbes, which is the reason I selected this course. The fests usually happen in the months of March or February. The connectivity is good, and there are societies and clubs in college that increase the engagement of the students in campus life.

College campus life as a microbiology student .
Placements: The percentage of the students placed is around 95%. The package for microbiology in companies like CIPLA ranges from moderate to high. Around 80 percent of the students were placed as microbiologists from my course. Therefore, Gargi college placements are high as compared to the private colleges.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi connectivity, classrooms, as well as the laboratories, are well structured, and all the equipment is present as required. The faculty members are very understanding and cooperative too, managers with the students understanding level and pace.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified with a Ph.D. degree and research work too. They have done much work in the field of microbiology. The course is relevant for the students, and all the subjects are very useful and important to study too. The semester examination level ranges from moderate to tough. The pass percentage of my class is almost 99 percent.
Other: I'm very interested in the field of microbiology, and it gives me all the understanding that I crave, basically.

Helpful and encouraging faculty.
Placements: After doing graduation, most of the students from my course opt for higher studies, but the placements are quite good, and the highest pack offered was 12 LPA. 80 percent of students got placed after completing this specialisation. Top roles offered are lab operators, microbiology scientists, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, with projectors in each lab and light for microscopes at each desk. Air-conditioned, well ventilated, and spacious are there. The library has a variety of books that are of good quality in a peaceful environment. Canteens provide hygienic goods and are affordable. We have a hand on medical support too.
Faculty: Teachers are well educated and experienced. They are very supportive and encouraging and easily approachable. The course is very relevant with practical classes every day; we got industry ready too, and it's very interesting also. Semester exams are of moderate level with a good study can be easily passed, and the pass percentage of my batch is 100%.
Other: I chose this course because it really encourages your knowledge about many things. College have a very friendly environment, with many events organised on a regular basis. Like annual festival and sport events and concerts and diwali fest, etc. These are all fun activities with full security on campus.

Worth spending money in this college.
Placements: Approximately 87% of students were placed in my course. The lowest package can be 8-9k per month as a fresher, the average can be 14-15k per month, and the highest can be 40k per month. Top roles offered can be lab technician, microbiologist, senior lab technician, scientist, etc.
Infrastructure: Labs, library, Wi-Fi facility— all the infrastructure is well-furnished and maintained. The library consists of all kinds of curiosity fillers. The quality of canteen food is better than expected from other canteens. The menu and seating facility are satisfying and comfortable.
Faculty: The faculty of my course, and even of the majority of courses, is very helpful and available to us. They guide us and provide all the best and relevant study materials. The materials they provide are sufficient for clearing out semester exams. The passing percentage would be approximately 55%.
Other: The best thing about my course is that there are more practicals that give us more clarity about the concepts. Fests, events, and extracurricular activities are great here with a lot of fun and an exciting environment. Celebrities like Nikhil Desuza, Vicky Kaushal, and many famous personalities came to these fests.

Student life at Gargi: Fun and Empowering.
Placements: Although the placement opportunities for Science students are pretty low, the college offers some amazing placement opportunities for Commerce and Humanities students. The average package offered to the students last year was about 4.5 LPA, whereas the highest package offered was about 21 LPA. The college also organized an internship fair a few months ago called ELEVATE, where several students bagged internships at Zomato, Accenture, etc.
Infrastructure: Gargi College is spread across 13 acres of land and is famous for its red building and lush green campus. The college has a two-storey auditorium which can host 750 students at a time. A seminar hall is also present where various events take place. The college also has a two-storey library, which further has a student’s reading room and a faculty reading room. The labs and lecture theatre are well-equipped with projectors. There are three computer labs in the college. The canteen serves food at a really low price, and a Nescafé corner is there where you can chill out with your friends. However, finding classes for additional courses like GE, SEC, and VAC can be really hectic. A new building is being constructed to tackle that issue.
Faculty: The faculty members are extremely skilled, well-qualified, and experts in their respective fields. They have pursued their Ph.D. from renowned institutes in India and have published many research papers. They are some of the best professors you will find in India. They are dedicated to providing both theoretical and practical knowledge to the students and preparing them for higher studies. The college follows the New Education Policy and allows you to study papers apart from your major as well, in the form of SEC and VAC papers. The course curriculum for microbiology students is a bit tough and vast but necessary.
Other: There are many student societies in the college, like Enliven, QED, etc., that actively take part in various competitions across the country. They keep organizing events that help students develop themselves outside their academics. The college also organizes fests like ZISTATVA and REVERIE, the annual cultural fest. It is fun being a part of Gargi.

For any course you just need to calculate your top 4 subject percentage. like assume if you are a PCM student then you need to add the best 4 scores and divide them by 400 and multiply it by 100 let us assume if you have these scores 87+91+67+85=330 Divide it by 400 and multiply by 100 (330/400)x

B.Pharma is professional course and B.Sc honors is more about getting subject knowledge. B.Pharma will get you some more practical knowledge on the other hand B.Sc(H) will get you some deep theoretical knowledge.
