I am absolutely satisfied because of the faculty members and the really amazing infrastructure.

Placements: 30% of students get placed in my course. The highest package is 14 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Accenture company collaborated with the life science subjects. 100% of students got internships. Zoologist and analyst roles are offered in my course.

Infrastructure: Facilities are wonderful, and the infrastructure is awesome. The red wall of Gargi is the symbol of unity. The department infrastructure is nice, and labs are also ventilated. Gargi has a common library. Wi-Fi is not working well. The hostel facilities are not there. But the cafeteria is wholesome, and the food is also good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, energetic, and supportive. Professors are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good and proper. The course curriculum is relevant, and it prepares students for higher studies. The difficulty level of exams is moderate, not so tough, and not so granted. The pass percentage is 33%.

Other: I chose this course because I am so interested in animals and their study. The best thing is that I can properly draw the diagram of creatures. Events and fests are the base of Gargi College. It gives a girl vibe around. Gargi is the safest college for girls in the whole of Delhi University.

Zoology in Gargi experience it for yourself

Placements: Most of the students were interested in doing masters, only a small percentage from zoology hons were placed. But , overall there was a high percentage of placement in other courses in companies like EY, DELOITTE etc. Highest package offered was 11 LPA. Average is 5 LPA and lowest -3-4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Amazing infrastructure, with all the necessary facilities including 3 computer labs, 2 research labs, laboratories for science students, 3 floor library, 3 floored auditorium, seminar hall, 6 lecture theatre, sports room , tennis lawn and classrooms equipped with projectors. There's also a common room for students, a Nescafe, canteen and a medical room with trained medical professionals. No hostel is available .

Faculty: Teachers are available most of time. They're ready to help even after College hours, especially science department faculty. The syllabus is taught using projectors, presentation, standard books with applied practical knowledge. It doesn't make the students industry ready but it's pretty sufficient to make them ready for competition exams and masters. The semester exams are quite easy.clearing the exams is not tough if studied regularly since the paper pattern is repetitive.

A Nescafe coffee you will miss in Gargi.

Placements: Usually, in all DU colleges, Science kids don't get placements, and it needs to stop. This is my major concern because every time recruiters come, they only recruit Commerce or Arts students. If you are a Science student and want a career after graduation, I believe DU is not good for you. Though I am not denying that not all Science kids get placed, you need to shift from Science to the corporate sector. But if you want to continue with Science in the future, then it's difficult to find jobs.

Infrastructure: Gargi is a decent spot to click pictures on campus, though the size is not that large and it can be worked upon. The new building has recently been made. Nescafe and Satya Bhaiya's coffee with his business model are very famous among our group, lol, but the canteen food does not contain good quality.

Faculty: My experience with faculty members is fabulous; they are awesome, really helpful, and will always support you, especially the Zoology faculty. They are amazing, really knowledgeable, and supportive. When I first took admission, I had the same question about how the course and its curriculum did not align with my interest. But believe me, now I am sure that I want to continue my career only in Zoology because the faculty makes studying subjects like animal behavior and Human Physiology really interesting. Neuroscience is the subject that only Gargi College offers, and it's one of my favorite subjects. DU exams are not difficult at all, and you can easily get an 8+ CGPA by studying a few days before exams.

Other: I didn't choose the course; the course chose me at first. But now I am pretty sure that this course is amazing, and all thanks to faculty members. The best thing is the way teachers make every concept clear, though I can't attend that many classes due to society, but it's pretty amazing. An improvement can be made in these NEP courses like SEC and VAC, which are of no use. I believe they should remove that; other core subjects are amazing. After the case of 2020, the admin doesn't prefer boys' entry in college, but somehow we manage to conduct our events. The crowd you will meet here is one of the things that will always live with you. At every point of life, you will genuinely grow as a person in Gargi, and the best part is it's an all-girls college. The best thing about a girls' college is you will become a carefree person in real life too.

Good infrastructure. Great alumni .

Placements: From a Biology background, if you are doing B.Sc. . then there is little/no placements. I mean students don't softer go for placements. If we are pursuing B.Sc. then Masters are important for gaining practical knowledge our subjects. Students either go Masters or for UPSC or any other field. And if you wanna go for Masters/PhD from a reputed university. Then you will make your career in any rese indus based on Biology or can be a professor in any college or can go in wildlife conservation field. I mean there is a lot in B.Sc. . also. We just need to explore yourself according to our interests. Thanks.

Infrastructure: Gargi college doesn't have its hostel. But the infrastructure and mess food is good in gargi college. Sports and games I am not sure about it. There might ne network problem in here (this is the major prbm) but kya hi kar sake hai. Classrooms are good and a new building is under construction here. So np about classes ig. Library is good and spacious. Exam time mein library dekhne ka maza hai lol.

Faculty: Gargi college has one of the best Zoology department in Delhi university. I mean it, teachers here are soo good and soo supporting. Semester exams comes from main Delhi university headquarter kind. I mean all the colleges have same exam papers. All the teachers here are qualified with a lot of teaching experience. The quality of our Zoology depth teaching is I guess one of the top most. Thanks.

Other: I want to do something other than MBBS people will say "ki iska hua nahi islie ye kehri hai", but I legit mean it. I chose this course because of the interest in Zoology and I hope to continue this by going into research field in a great university. Thanks Improvement can be like. Visit to the research labs and other great university in india where researches are going with a great pace.
