Not a recommended course. There is no future.
Placements: There is no placement in my field. Not more than 20 students from my course get placed in any job. The average package for our course, compared to other elite courses such as commerce and economics, is very low. Almost no one gets an internship in our course.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is not available even for students from outside Delhi, as the boys' hostel is under renovation. The infrastructure in general is moderate. The premises are also well maintained. The library is actually decent and well stocked with both ancient manuscripts and the latest literature.
Faculty: The curriculum is designed very poorly. It does not hold any relevance to contemporary standards. The teaching quality is, though, very good. Professors are very educated and help you all the way with your term papers and articles. End-semester exams are easy to crack.

Good college, poor maintenance, bad courses, no prospects.
Placements: Almost no placements. Only 2–4% of Sanskrit Hons students actually get placed. The average package ranges between 2–3 LPA. Recruiters are mainly libraries, auditoriums, student parties, and Sanskrit literature-related associations aiming to spread awareness about our culture and heritage.
Infrastructure: The quality of food is decent, but the conditions in which it is prepared are not very hygienic. Wi-Fi is available in all classrooms and in our AC-enabled library. Sports facilities are not adequate. Their condition is very poor. The sports ground is also rarely open, disallowing students who do want to play.
Faculty: Teachers are indeed qualified and very resourceful. It's just the validity of the course that is in question. None of us get any placement, hence everyone starts to prepare for future higher studies. This curriculum is way below industry standards.
Other: Rarely are any events conducted. There is no on-campus life. There are poor sanitation standards in restrooms, as complained about by many students. Campus surroundings are also not very safe.

Wasteful course and no placements at all.
Placements: Practically no placements in my course. The highest placement was 5 LPA last year. Most of the roles offered are of Sanskrit translator for library or archival studies. Mostly students prepare for either government exams or for M.A. Sanskrit and NET to become a professor.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility in my college for boys as the boys' hostel is currently under renovation, though there is a Wi-Fi Facility available in both classrooms and the library. The library is also very well stocked with a lot of literature relevant for my curriculum.
Faculty: The curriculum does not hold much value. There are no jobs in any industry that graduates in Sanskrit can actually opt for. The teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful. The semester exams are very hard and the passing criteria in theory papers is 40 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I couldn't get admission in any other course and I am regretting it. Wouldn't recommend it for anyone else. I wish this course was scrapped as it wastes our 3 years that too in an expensive city like Delhi. There are rarely big fest-like events conducted on campus, though the crowd is very diverse. The connectivity to the college is also superb as it lies in the heart of North Campus.

Review of Hansraj College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Okay so my course was in Sanskrit, so obviously we didn't get any placements from the college. That is the reality of our course; we have to do well in academics in long run to even be qualified for a job in this field. But one thing I will say is that Hansraj's Sanskrit faculty will make you ready for all the future obstacles.
Infrastructure: Wifi works fine, and the password is also provided in the library, which is very well structured and maintained with good washrooms but other washrooms are trash. Classrooms are okayish; AC works whenever the principal wants. I didn't live in the hostel but went there one time and the infrastructure and cleanliness were very good.
Faculty: My course's faculty is the best of all, always helpful and the best in their respective fields. The curriculum was also relevant but should be broader for future preparation. Semester exams are not very difficult and people pass with a good percentage.
Other: The best thing about this course is the eye-opening and hidden knowledge of my own country's history. I would wish that internal politics would not affect the hiring process of the professors but sadly it does. We had a festival this year; it was iconic. Campus crowd and surroundings are nice. Our societies are our main attraction.

Satisfied with the faculty and experience of learning.
Placements: In our course placement has not been held but placement cell is good on our campus. There is no placement in our course but the placement percentage of students is average and companies that come for placement provide students good packages on their experience and knowledge.
Infrastructure: Nice infrastructure and provide good facilities at labs and library. There are also Wi-Fi facilities available in the lab and library. The hostel is good and the mess and canteen food is average, the medical facility is good and sports and games are available of all types.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and experienced. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students ready for industries. It is a moderately difficult semester exam in the college and the passing percentage is 35% i.e., theory + practical/ internal + assignment.

Waste of money, with no jobs in this industry.
Placements: Not more than 15–20 students from my course get placed, so the placement situation in this course and domain is very poor. Those who do get jobs earn around 3 LPA. Most roles are offered as translators in libraries or with private organisations working in the fields of history and ancient culture.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available campus-wide but does not run smoothly and is not very fast. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned. Other infrastructure such as chairs, benches, blackboards and projectors are maintained poorly. Quality of food in the college canteen is moderate.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are knowledgeable and well qualified. But the course itself is not properly structured. I would recommend revising the curriculum. Exams are not very difficult and can be managed with a short period of preparation.
Other: I chose this course due to a lack of awareness about its career prospects, but I regret my decision.

Hansraj College is worth studying at Delhi University.
Placements: As we are in a theoretical subject and here we got not at all placements during the college period. It's the best college to start your journey as a job aspirant for the future. Though all other practical subjects students got their placements with about 18 LPA packages.
Infrastructure: Our college has all the necessary infrastructure which is required for students' comfort. Hansraj College has a multi-floor library; one for Science and another for Arts & Commerce students. It has clean and good classrooms which individually have smart boards. There's only a boy's hostel.
Faculty: All the faculty members are having keen knowledge of the subject they taught. I am studying B.A. Sanskrit honors from Hansraj college which I think it's the best place to study this subject. As we are encouraged to know more about how we make it worthwhile by attending the Aryasamaji Hawans.
Other: Hansraj College is best if you are interested in amazing campus life and a great academic career. Here you'll see different societies with different talents.

Overall, our college is the best.
Placements: The salary package is not offered in our course. I am from the Sanskrit course. Companies do not visit the college to hire students from our course.
Infrastructure: The canteen and classrooms are awesome. The college has a huge playground. The hostel facility is good.
Faculty: Our college has good teachers. They are well-educated and so much learned. The college conducts semester exams. The pass percentage is above 35%. In our curriculum, a lot of roles have been given, which is very good.
