For the General AI category students, the JEE Main Round 2 closing ranks are in the range of 47114 and 1299159 for B.E. / B.Tech admission. Of all the specialisations, B.Tech. in Information Technology proved to have the most stringent cutoff rank of 47114 for admission.
In 2024, the second-round closing rank of the same specialisation was 36251, while in 2023, it was 36354 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. Upon reviewing the ranks over three years, we can say that B.Tech. in Information Technology saw instability in its closing ranks during Round 2 admission.
