CSAB 2025: The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has started CSAB supernumerary round registration. The last date to register is August 26, and the seat allotment result will be out on August 27.

The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) holds CSAB counselling 2025 for candidates who do not receive any seat in JoSAA counselling based on JEE Main ranks. Such candidates have to register for CSAB counselling. CSAB counselling is of three types: CSAB North Eastern States and Some of Union Territories (NEUT); CSAB Special, and CSAB Supernumerary. All three types of counselling will be based on the JEE Main 2025 rank.

The CSAB special round is held to allocate the unfilled seats of the NIT+ System after the last JoSAA round. The NEUT round is specifically designed for candidates from North-Eastern (NE) States and Union Territories (UTs) to allocate seats across degree-level technical institutions approved by AICTE, as well as universities in North-Eastern (NE) States and Union Territories (UTs). The Supernumerary is only for candidates from Union Territories of Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep, Daman & Diu, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli and for admission to supernumerary seats in NIT Calicut, NIT Durgapur, and SVNIT Surat.
