Step 1.1: Visit the official website: iimcat.ac.in.

Step 1.2: Click on "New Registration" and register by entering a few basic details.

Step 1.3: Login with the ID and fill out the application form.

Step 1.4: Upload the required documents.

Step 1.5: Pay the application fee via credit/debit card or net banking.

The documents required during the CAT application form filling are:

• Class 10 mark sheet
• Class 12 mark sheet
• Graduation mark sheets/certificate
• Date of Birth certificate
• Address proof
• Candidate identification certificate
• Final year certificate from principal, HoD or Director (if applicable)
• Caste category certificate (if applicable)
• PwD category certificate (if applicable)
• Scribe certificate (if applicable)
• Credit/debit card or net banking credentials
• Work experience document

STEP 2: Written Ability Test (WAT)/ Personal Interview (PI) Round

Candidates who meet the cutoff criteria (Sectional and overall) based on CAT score have to further participate in the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The schedule for these selection rounds shall be communicated to the students by the institute through its official website.

STEP 3: Declaration of Final Merit List

After the selection rounds are conducted successfully, a final category-wise merit list is published. Candidates who make it to this list become eligible for admission.
