The college is good enough, and it will reach new heights in near future.
Placements: Our college is new, and the first batch of the college has passed out in 2019. So, as far as I have heard, the students who have maintained their CGPs were selected by the companies. No core companies visit the college, but good private companies do visit our college. If you maintain your CGP and work hard, then definitely you will get a job. But as we all know, Amity is a well-known university, so definitely good companies visit.
Infrastructure: Amity is known for its infrastructure. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and the labs are well-equipped with modern machines. Amity library as we all know is among the known libraries of Kolkata. Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors, and they are air-conditioned. The seating facilities and all are also fine. There are also medical facilities available with ambulance facility. Our new building is under construction which will have all the possible games and support. We have a total of 3 canteens, out of which 2 serve pure vegetarian food, and the other one also serves vegetarian with egg. Hostel rooms are fine with air-conditioning and Wi-Fi facilities. Hostelers can have food from the canteen or outside. In short, the infrastructure is just amazing.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well-experienced with high qualifications of PhD and M.Tech in their courses. They are supportive, and students can also go to them for doubts after their classes. Parents can contact our mentors for our details, and PTMs are also held in every semester. Teaching quality is good, and the use of projectors in class is fine. On average, there are generally 40 students in a class. Workshops are available to students which will provide industry exposure, and regular lab sessions are also conducted. Seminars are held for providing information about the latest status of the market to the students.
Other: Amity is full of events, and you will never get bored in Amity as there is always some or the other event going on. So it's pretty good. Amity's fest, Amiphoria is well-known and is held in February every year, and well-known celebrities are invited to the fest. The crowd is good where a majority of students are Bengalis, and non-Bengali students are also there. All the students are supportive and nice in behaviour. Don't think that if you are a non-Bengali, you can't survive here; it's totally a misconception. Scholarships are also available depending upon your 12th class percentage. Extra curriculum activities are also available in college about which you will know slowly in your college life. Plenty of food is available outside the campus, and Swiggy and Zomato also deliver to the campus.

Review of Amity University, Kolkata.
Placements: Amity's Kolkata campus is just 4 years old, and the placements here will be held for the 1st pass out batch of Amity. A few companies in the IT sector visited the campus for placements. Also, the students had been sent to the Amity Noida campus, which is the oldest campus of Amity, which is guaranteeing 100% placements. Companies approaching the Noida campus are good.
Infrastructure: As compared to the other campuses and colleges of Kolkata, Amity Kolkata has a great campus and excellent infrastructure. It is improving the number of labs to be made available to the students. The canteen here is still better than the other colleges' canteen, and it serves decent food. Wi-Fi facility is available 24x7. Only the sports facility needs to be enhanced.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are approachable and friendly. Some departments face the issue of faculty expertise in a particular field which is a great concern. Syllabus for the engineering department is vast, which needs to be reduced. Certain subjects like foreign business language and behavioural science need to be made optional rather than compulsory for the ease of the students. Students are hoping for a better course curriculum.
Other: Events and Fests are organised at our campus. It is conducted for various departments and fields. The famous fest named Amiphoria is conducted annually, and maximum students participate from various other colleges as well.

There is a friendly atmosphere to learn and prosper.
Placements: Amity provides good a placement scheme, and it is really great to get a job. The college promises 100% placements to all students, though the average salary package offered is not that good. We can search for a job on our own as well. Though the schedule is very hectic, one needs to be focused.
Infrastructure: Amity has a great infrastructure, and it is one of the best campuses in the whole of Kolkata. It's really beautiful and has a two-storey library with a large number of books. There are quite a number of labs and a football field. There is also a lot of greenery around.
Faculty: The faculty members are very friendly and like to interact with students. Teachers and very knowledgeable and want to see the students prosper. All of them are ready to help whenever required. One can seek help from the teachers on holidays as well.

Infrastructure: Since the day when we got to hear about Amity and saw all the posters of the campus, we were so excited to take admissions as we saw that they provide high-tech classes and rooms for the students. Students from different places join Amity.
Faculty: Since day 1, teachers are playing their role very well. Their behaviour is good, and they support students during any projects or work. All faculty members are qualified from different parts of the world.
Other: The campus is huge, and they organise many events every day.

The fastest growing University in Kolkata.
Placements: Amity is a brand and is recognised for the high rate of job offered to students in-campus. Our senior batch students got placed in 2018 thanks to the Placement Cell. The highest salary offered this time was 10 Lacs! All 3rd and 4th year students have to do internships, if you cant find our desired one the college manages to find one for us with the top companies.
Infrastructure: We have a huge auditorium like a cinema hall. A special Seminar Hall. All classrooms are amphitheatre type, with projector, A. C, good quality furniture, mic, speakers and large windows that enable a perfect study atmosphere. Students often complain about the faulty fire system that beeps at times. Having a 2-floored library with all books for all departments so you don't need to buy. Also digital library is accessible. The most important thing- Free Wi-Fi in campus.
Faculty: Our department faculty are highly professional. Teachers are very helpful and support at each phase in academics. Classes are always on schedule, even on holidays at times. We are learning new software and learning arduino programming and robotics, thanks to our department head. We are also requested to give faculty feedback every semester.
Other: Our college provide scholarships to 1000s of students every year for their performance ini board examinations as well as in semesters. We organise various events every now and then. Chess, Table tennis, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Carrom, Cricket are some sports that we play.

It's a university with a great environment to study.
Placements: Students of our senior batch are well-placed. Amity holds its reputation for providing placements only. Many good companies are recruiting the students from our college by providing good salary packages. Students are always given proper training to attend and crack the placements of reputed companies.
Infrastructure: There are fully designed laboratories and AC classrooms throughout the campus. The library has been set up very well with all the required books. Sports and games are also conducted in the college where the students can take part in intra-Amity and inter-Amity competitions. Students can access Wi-Fi everywhere in the college.
Faculty: Amity has the best faculty members in all the departments. Faculty members and professors are qualified enough to share their knowledge and lecture throughout the course. They are helpful and cooperative. They conduct the tests accordingly.
Other: Amity organises a lot of events and seminars throughout the year. They also provide scholarships for bright students. The fest organised by Amity is well-known in the city.

The faculty and students have a great relationship.
Placements: The first placement season takes place this year. Companies like Tech-System, Cloud Kaptan and Byjus have visited the campus till now. Students have also gone to Noida campus for central campusing. We are hoping for the best. I hope that Amity won't deprive their students of job opportunities.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are like amphitheatres. Labs are well-equipped. Wi-Fi facility is not available much frequently. Laboratories are well-equipped and spacious. Food available in the old canteen is a total waste of money, and moreover, the price of every food item is way too costly. The new canteen that came up is worth the money, and the taste is also good. Vegetarian food is available, but the food items made of eggs have been introduced, and that has been a blessing in disguise for Amitians.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, and most of them are good at teaching. Oral explanation accompanied with powerpoint explanation is carried out frequently. Frequent seminars and advancements on different technology oriented topics in such areas are conducted.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Since it's the first year of placements in our college, only 2-3 companies visited the campus till now including Flipkart, Byju's and Tech Systems. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and each company has hired only 3 to 4 students. Amity, Noida also offered jobs to some students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is world-class. The infrastructural facilities provided by the college are eco-friendly. They provide good medical facilities and bus transportation facilities. We have the best library in Kolkata, which consists of more than three lakh books (considering all the courses), providing knowledge of all the aspects. Amity is concerned about the security of the students and extends their support to students.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good. They are experienced, knowledgeable and qualified. They use PPTs to teach students. They provide self-explanatory notes which are very useful. They also organize class assessment exercises and provide home assignments. Lab sessions are not conducted properly, and it might be due to the lack of space.
Other: An awesome fest named Amiphoria is our annual cultural and technical fest. The campus crowd is great, and the Wi-Fi connectivity is average. Surroundings of the campus are beautiful, and there is greenery all around the campus.
