IISER Bhopal cutoff 2025 has been released for different categories of students under the AI quota. For the General category, the cutoff rank for BS + MS admission across multiple specialisations was 2015. For BTech, the Round 1 closing rank stood at 974. IISER Bhopal offers three admission channels: SCB (state central board), KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana), and IIT JEE Advanced for admission to the BS and BS-MS (Dual Degree) programmes. Based on the category rank list that is acquired from KVPY, a common rank list is generated for candidates who apply through the KVPY channel, giving equal weight to SX, SA, and SB. The JEE (Advanced) category rank list determines the candidates' assignments when they apply through the JEE channel. For applicants using the SCB channel, a Common Merit List (CML) and a category-wise merit list of candidates are created. IISER Bhopal with 70% in class 12th is also possible.

Yes, IISER Bhopal accepts JEE score for admission. You can get admission in IISER Bhopal through JEE Main rank if you fulfill the eligibility criteria for the JEE advanced channel, which is to secure a JEE Advanced rank within 10,000. You also need to have 10+2 with a Science stream and Maths as one of the subjects. IISER Bhopal offers a BS-MS degree programme for four years. You can also apply for admission through KVPY and SCB channel.

IISERs get generous funding as they come directly under the MHRD of the central Government. Both IISER Bhopal and IISER Pune have state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities.

Therefore, it is not appropriate to compare the IISERs as they all have their unique features and every college is best in its own aspects.

 The top recruiters of IISER Bhopal are as follows - TCS, Union Bank, Deloitte,  Excel Instruments,  IDBI Bank (Industrial Development Bank of India),  Nurture.farm,  SBI (State Bank Of India), Atotech. Based on information provided by IISER Bhopal, Deloitte chose five final-year students for IISER Bhopal placements in 2022. Additionally, as part of the IISER Bhopal summer internships 2022, a third-year BS student was chosen for a three-month summer internship at nuture.farm. In addition, four Indian Institute of Science Education & Research Bhopal students were chosen to participate in IISER internships in France in 2022. In addition, the median package offered during the IISER Bhopal BS and BS-MS placements in 2022 was INR 17.5 LPA and INR 6.5 LPA, respectively, according to the IISER Bhopal NIRF Report 2023

The median package offered during BSc-MSc placements in 2022 increased by more than 18% in comparison to 2021.

Since IISER Pune had 13 students selected for placement and IISER Bhopal has only 5 students. Therefore, IISER Pune offers better placements.

IISER Entrance exam is conducted by the institute for candidates seeking admission to the BS and Integrated BS specialisations.
