Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Mohali admission process for the BS-MS Dual Degree programme is open. The institute offers a total of three courses, including BS-MS, Integrated PhD and PhD across six departments, namely Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences and Humanities and Social Sciences at UG, PG and doctoral level, respectively. Admission to the institute is both entrance and merit-based. Applicants are admitted to the BS-MS programme through Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), JEE Advanced and SCB channels. IISER Mohali Integrated PhD admission is based on JEST/ JAM scores while the PhD admission is based on a valid score in the CSIR NET/ GATE/ CSIR-JRF/ UGC-JRF.al

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana scholars admitted to IISERs will draw fellowship as per KVPY norms. In addition, Department of Science and Technology provides a limited number of INSPIRE scholarships of Rs.5000/- per month to candidates admitted through JEE and SCB channels, upon fulfilling the criteria set by DST. Students admitted to the BS programme in Engineering or Economics are not entitled for the scholarship.
