The best hostel facilities in India are provided in our college.
Placements: The college has a good placement record. However, most of the students go for higher studies, yet it has a good placement record. Two of my friends applied for placements, and one of them got selected with a package of 18 LPA. Many students got internship opportunities in various institutes across the world.
Infrastructure: The college provides the best hostel facilities. Rooms have LAN connection with a speed of 40-50 Mbps. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. All the hostel rooms are air-conditioned. Classrooms are good and air-conditioned. Food available in the canteen is good.
Faculty: The faculty in IIT, Gandhinagar are very supportive and very good. They support students in every possible way. The teaching quality of our faculty is very good. The way they teach is very impressive. The course curriculum of maths at IIT, GN is very useful.

Students can gain good knowledge in IIT, Gandhinagar.
Placements: Placements for mathematics batch are not much good because M.Sc mathematics students are not interested in appearing for placements. They opt for higher education after M.Sc. In 2018 batch, 1 student was selected, and 2 persons were selected in 2017 batch.
Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi facility is provided in the academic area as well as the hostel. Its speed is 4 Mbps in the hostel and 5-6 Mbps in the academic buildings. There are 2 computer labs with around 200 computers. IIT Gandhinagar has a very good library. The campus has a dispensary with good doctors. Currently, all the sports grounds are good.
Faculty: In 2018, there are 8-10 mathematical faculty members who mostly belong to the fields like algebra, analysis, topology and many more. Some of the good faculty members belong to the applied mathematics, differential equation, partial differential equation and number theory and many others.
Other: IIT Gandhinagar organises four big events in a year. Many small events are also organised. I think the number of students in IIT Gandhinagar is 1350 after 2018 batch. There are 6 hostels and are spacious enough to accommodate 1350 students. 6 new hostels will be made available by February 2019. The college transport provided is very good. Many scholarships are provided in IIT Gandhinagar.

Admission into Masters Courses in IIT solely depends on your JAM performance.
Your graduation grades don't play any such role there.
