IIT Goa MTech course of two-year is offered across three specialisations. Admission to this course is based on GATE scores followed by COAP Counselling. The list of documents to be submitted at the time of the GATE application for MTech is given below:

- Passport-size photograph with white background (JPEG/ JPG format only)
- Scanned copy of Category certificate (for SC/ST) in pdf format
- Scanned copy of PwD Certificate (if applicable) in pdf format
