The selection of candidates for the MDes programme offered at IIT Guwahati is based on the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) conducted as a part of the central admission procedure. IIT Guwahati admissions are done through national-level tests conducted by various authorities for the admission to UG, PG, and PhD level courses. Admission to all the courses is entrance-based, therefore, candidates must appear for the respective entrance exam and qualify for its cutoff.
