Review of IIT Guwahati's beauty in 2026.

Faculty: Faculty members and course curriculum are excellent here, as IIT Guwahati is known for its research. The course curriculum gets changed to align with the modern needs of companies. Semester exams are kind of tough here to maintain the standard of exams.

Really beautiful campus- IITG.

Faculty: The difficulty of the course and its exams depends mainly on the professor. Some of them are very strict, some are lenient. The curriculum is relevant. First-year courses are mostly common. From the second year onwards, the courses related to your branch will be taught. The pass percentage is normally high.

College Life at India's Most Beautiful Campus.

Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:12 - 1:15, with overall faculty interaction as decent, with many professors available for any kind of help. The institute has highly qualified faculty, especially in the teaching field. Each semester includes mid-term exams, end-term exams, with quizzes and assignments, and the difficulty range from moderate to high, but can be managed through consistency.

You have to qualify CSIR NET exam.

Faculty: The course curriculum is awesome here. There are many internal and external assessments. You would learn a lot after getting admission to IIT. They also train students for practical skills for an overall assessment. I don't know other departments, but the research facilities are good in the Chemistry department. They are also getting good publications. In my view, research facilities here are the best in comparison to other IIT's. The total number of professors is around 30 or more in the depart...

Strong academics, good placements, and a peaceful campus life at IIT Guwahati.

Faculty: The teachers are very well qualified, and the teaching quality is generally good. Semester exams are not that hard and are moderate and one can mostly score good marks if you listen to the classes. The semester exams are moderate, and people mostly pass and the ones who don't are given a chance to take a supplementary exam.

Its an absolutely great college for engineering. Beautiful campus.

Faculty: All the teachers are highly knowledgeable and qualified. The curriculum is completely relevant to the course, both theoretically and practically. Semester exams are moderate to tough. The pass percentage is generally high, but those who attend all the classes and complete assignments on time can easily score high.

IIT Guwahati College review.

Faculty: The faculty was very active and had a lot of experience, and they treated all students the same. As you got further into the course, the subjects actually got more interesting. The exams can be a bit of a challenge, but 80% of the students still passed. Teachers were easy to talk to and were pretty impressive people.

IIT Guwahati College review.

Faculty: The teaching staff was decent, but you really had to show up to class if you wanted to do well. Most people passed, but the ones who skipped usually struggle. The syllabus setup could be better, so sometimes you have to do extra work on your own. The exams were about average, and you just need to keep up with the work.

Review of IIT Guwahati - Indian Institute of Technology.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified, and some even are PhD holders from top places like IITs or colleges in other countries. The teaching is okay, and teachers help when we have doubts. However, some of the stuff we learn feels a bit old for jobs that are out there now. Exams range from medium-hard level. About 80-90 percent of the class students pass exams.

Absolutely fantastic college.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are highly educated and experienced. Faculty members are the topmost lecturers in India. The subjects of our college are really good as they are revised and advanced into the new technologies. The projects that we perform during our coursework are also good for holding a conversation during interviews. There are only 2 exams, mid and end semester, which will test the students' knowledge really well, as there are no specific question sets where we can prepare, so st...

College is fun. Whatever you want, you will get in college. Just enjoy.

Faculty: Teaching, I can't say it is fully useful as it follows the old curriculum, which is not as useful for current industry needs. But the teachers are highly qualified and have a lot of knowledge. Semester exams are a mix of easy and tough exams. Some professors are very chill, and some are so strict that they fail half of the class.

Almost all faculty members hold PhD degrees from premier institutions, including other IITs and renowned international universities. Many professors are global leaders in their fields, such as nanotechnology, green chemistry, computational biology, etc. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes us industry-ready. Faculty: Nice and helpful teachers and professors. A little off the track curriculum. Good curriculum for the industry. Difficult semester examination. A lot of study material is provided by the institute to help students. A lot of practical knowledge is provided.

There are 2 exams in one semester, the first is mid-semester and the second is end-sem. The exams are easily crackable with some effort. The pass percentage is above 90 percent.
