Yes, GATE exam dates have been announced. The GATE application form gets released on the official website at gate.iisc.ac.in. The exam will be conducted online as a computer-based test for 29 papers. Students will be required to solve 65 questions in 180 minutes (3 hours). The GATE syllabus is based on General Aptitude and Core Discipline, carrying a weightage of 15% and 85% respectively. The schedule of JEE Main counselling will be declared by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority after the declaration of the JEE Main result. Admission to the BTech course offered at IIIT Guwahati is entrance-based. Students need to appear and clear JEE Main exam to secure their seat at the institute.
