As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 closing rank for BTech ranged between 4817 and 8428 for BTech. 

So, considering the previous year Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks, candidates seeking admission to IIIT Allahabad must secure a rank over and above 4800 and 9600 for the General ALL India category candidates.

The total seats available for all BTech branches combined are 280 seats. In 2025, the IIT Jammu CSE cutoff was relatively less competitive for admission as compared to that of IIT Goa for students belonging to the General AI quota. However, as compared to IIT Bhilai, for CSE admission in the General category, the JEE Advanced cutoff range was more competitive for IIT Jammu. 

The CSE cutoff ranged between 5626 and 6242 for IIT Bhilai, while for IIT Goa, it ranged from 5626 to 6242. For IIT Jammu, the cutoff ranks were between 5988 and 6651 for CSE admission in the General category. 

IIT Jammu has drawn security guidelines to be followed by the teachers and faculty members. Some of the security instructions include:

• The speed limit inside the campus is 20 KMPH
• Wearing seat belts and helmets while driving on campus is compulsory
• Students are advised to report any suspicious person to the security control room, and others
