IIT Mandi MA Eligibility & Highlights 2024
IIT Mandi offers a MA course in Development Studies specialisation. Admission to the programme is done on the basis of merit in the entrance examination conducted by the institute followed by an interview round. Candidates seeking admission can apply for MA at IIT Mandi by filling out the online application within the due date.

Eligibility: Candidates who have qualified for the award of a three/ four-year bachelor's degree (BA, BSc, BTech or equivalent), after Class 12 or equivalent schooling, from a recognised university or institute with at least 55% aggregate (or 6.0 CGPA on a scale 10) are eligible to apply for MA programme. Students belonging to reserved categories will get relaxation as per institute rules. Selection criteria: Entrance Exam (60% weightage) + Personal Interview (40% weightage) |

The application fee for MS by Research/ PhD is INR 200 and INR 100 for General/ EWS/ OBC/ OBC (NCL)/ Transgender/ Foreign Nationals and Women/ SC/ ST/ PD, respectively. JEE application fee for boys is INR 1,000, INR 800 for girls, and INR 500 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender category students.
