IIT Bhilai offers a two-year M.Tech course across six specialisations. These are Computer Science & Engineering, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Vehicle Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechatronics. Admission to all the M.Tech courses is through GATE followed by COAP counselling.

No, admission to M.Tech at IIT Bhilai is not possible without qualifying for GATE. It is mandatory for candidates to appear and qualify for the exam with a valid score.
