IIITDM Kurnool MTech curriculum is divided into semester-pattern. During the three-year duration, students are required to study various courses including both theoretical and practical subjects. Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kurnool offers a two-year MTech programme, which is spread across four semesters. For admission to the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kurnool MTech course, candidates must have passed BE/BTech in the relevant subject with at least 6.5 CGPA or 60% aggregate. Apart from this,   candidates are also required to appear for the GATE entrance test. 

The core subjects under MTech at IIITDM Kurnool aim to make students understand the basic concepts of Engineering. Some of the core subjects included in the curriculum are:

For the General AI category, admissions were closed at a rank of 94749. Hence, these students need to attain a rank of at least 94749 to be eligible for admission. 

On the other hand, the OBC AI category students needed to have a rank below 103216. The SC and ST All India categories needed a rank below 204100 and 244049, respectively. Students who belong to the EWS and PWD AI quota need a rank below 102838 and 880508, respectively. 

The modes of IIIT Kurnool admissions are online and offline. Admission to various courses at IIITDM Kurnool is based on entrance exams and merit. At the UG level, the college offers a four-year BTech in four specialisations. Admission to the BTech programme is based on JEE MAin scores. The aspiring candidates need a minimum of 75% in class 12 to be eligible for the BTech programme. At the PG level, the college offers two-year M.Tech in three specialisations. The IIIT Kurnool also offers Ph.D. courses to students.

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible.
