| Graduation | 55% Mandatory Course: B.E. / B.Tech Candidates securing a CPI of 5.5 on a scale of 10.0 are also eligible to apply. Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes must have passed the basic qualifying degree (bachelor's degree in engineering or a master's degree in science) are eligible to apply irrespective of the marks/CPI. Candidates with Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or in any of the following branches for different streams.
Manufacturing Sciences: Aero Engg, Chem Engg, Metallurgy/MatSc Engg, Prod/Manuf Engg.
Fluid and Thermal Sciences: Aero Engg, Chem Engg.
Solid Mechanics and Design: Aero Engg, Civil Engg, Metallurgy/MatSc Engg, ChemEngg.
Robotics and Automation: Aero Engg, Comp Sc, Elect/Electro/Comm Engg, Mechatronics/Instrum Engg.
The requirement of GATE score is waived off for the B.Tech. graduates from IITs with a minimum overall CPI of 6.5 and a minimum CPI of 8.0 in the last two years in B.Tech. |
