The first eligibility criteria that are required for admission to MBA courses at IIM Mumbai is candidates must complete their bachelor's degree with at least an aggregate of 50% and 45% in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories. Yes, IIM Mumbai offers financial assistance as scholarships to meritorious students. GATE-qualified candidates are entitled to Teaching Assistantship (at present INR 12,400 per month) and contingency expenditure as per rules. In addition to this,  SC/ST candidates are offered financial assistance as per the scheme of Govt. of India.

IIM Mumbai offers several scholarship schemes to the candidates on a merit and needs basis. The details regarding the same is GATE-qualified students are entitled to Teaching Assistantship (at present INR12400 per month) and contingency expenditure as per rules. SC/ST students are granted Central Sector Scholarship as per the scheme of Govt. of India subject to the satisfactory fulfilment of terms and conditions mentioned therein.
