IIMC Jammu Course Admissions 2025: Fees, Eligibility, Dates & Selection Process

IIMC Jammu admission 2025 is currently open. Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) Jammu offers postgraduate diploma courses in PG diploma in (English), PG Diploma in Hindi and PG Diploma in Digital Media. IIMC Jammu admissions to PG Diploma courses are through the CUET-PG. Selected candidates are given a maximum of seven days to secure their admission by depositing the fees online along with the necessary documents.

IIMC Jammu Fee & Seats 2025

IIMC Jammu fees are cumulative and consist of multiple components, such as tuition fees, security deposit, hostel fees, mess fees, etc. The components such as security fees are one-time chargeable. The other fee components could be non-refundable, to be paid semester-wise or annually. IIMC Jammu seat allotment is further done as per the guidelines of the Government of India. IIMC Jammu Seat Reservation 2025

IIMS Jammu holds seat reservations. Reservation of seats will be as per Government of India orders/rules for SC, ST, Persons with Disability and EWS. Each category will have 5% reservations for the candidates with 40% or more disability. The candidates applying under the reserved categories shall need to submit the category Certificates (SC/ST/OBC Non-Creamy Layer Certificate/ EWS/PWD issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format at the time of submission of the Application Form and produce the same in original for verification at the time of admission/registration. Non-Creamy Layer certificate should not have been issued six months from the registration date. Steps for IIMC Jammu Admission Process 2025

IIMC Jammu admission procedure is completely entrance-based followed by a centralised counselling process. Candidates need to go through each of the stages of the admission procedure for selection. The complete admission process is explained below:

STEP 1: IIMC Jammu Application Process

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website (iimc.nic.in) of the institute. The application form can also be downloaded online and submitted at the institute's admission office. Aspirants can apply for the CUET-PG/IIMC Entrance Exam through the NTA official website.

If students want to apply for more than one course, they must fill in only one application form. After the application form is accepted, a URN (Unique Registration Number) that can be used for future reference is shared with the candidates.

STEP 2: Merit List Release & Campus Allocation

Following the CUET-PG result declaration, IIMC releases a merit list on its official website. The campus allocation in the list is done based on merit-cum-preference. In addition, the campus allocation id one as per an alphabetical roster. These students may have to register online again for counselling. Selected candidates have to confirm admission within seven days by paying the fee along with the required documents.

STEP 3: Centralised Registration Process

Furthermore, candidates need to bring a printout of the NIC application filled out during the registration with the sign of parents on it. The institute releases seats till desired admissions are secured as per the seat intake.
