Given below is the IIT Bhilai BTech eligibility criteria:

• Class 12 from recognised board with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics subjects and with a minimum of 75% aggregate
• JEE Main valid score
• JEE Advanced valid score

IIT Bhilai JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the various BTech course specialisations. The cutoff was released for all rounds for the students under the All India quota. 

For the General AI category, the closing rank was 7382 in the last round. On the other hand, for the OBC AI category, the last round cutoff rank was 2832. Comparing both these ranks, we can see that the competition for the General AI category is lower in the last round than the OBC AI category.

 IIT Bhilai Mechanical cutoff was released for admission for all rounds and All India categories based on the JEE Advanced results. 

For the General AI category, the last round cutoff rank for BTech in Mechanical Engineering was 12428. In 2024 and 2023, the closing cutoffs were 11505 and 12484, respectively. After analysing this difference, we can conclude that the cutoff trend for this category has been fluctuating over the years.

 IIT Bhilai JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 was published for admission to the various BTech course specialisations for all rounds and categories under the All India category. 

For the General AI category, the overall cutoff varied between 6384 and 17478, according to the first and last round. Among all, the hardest for admission course for enrolment was  B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, with the cutoff ranging from 6384 to 7382.

The cut off rank in Round 6 for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering is 5791 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in IIT Bhilai - Indian Institute of Technology.

As per the elgibility criteria released by the IITs, It is mandatory to have minimum 75% marks (65% for reserved category) in class 12 to take admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Candidates should apply for JoSAA conselling only if they fulfill all the conditions of eligibility. However, many institutes admit students on the basis of JEE Main where there is no requirement of minimum marks in class 12.

IIT Bhilai offers admission to MSc specialisations on the basis of IIT JAM scores. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. Among the General AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks were between 523 and 613. Therefore, if you belong to the General AI category, then it is possible to get admission at 500 rank. 

IIT Bhilai accepts IIT JAM for admission into MSc courses. The cut-off for IIT JAM is released in the form of Cutoff ranks. The number of seats available is directly propotionate to Cutoff ranks. The trend observed indicates that as the number of students passing the exam increases, the closing ranks also increase. Looking at the Cutoff ranks for this year, the numbers showed that the number of seats have increased in comparison to the last year, as the Cutoff ranks have also increased.
