The average package offered to IIT Goa BTech students during the recent 2022 placements stood at INR 23.4 LPA. Additionally, 99% of the students got placement opportunities from campus which makes IIT Goa a decent option w.r.t BTech placements. Being one of the youngest IITs established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, the institute was mentored by IIT Bombay for three pioneer years. In addition to the course fee, candidates are also required to pay the application fee while JEE registration. The same for BTech at IIT Goa through JEE Main official website is INR 1,000 for boys and for girls (of General/ Gen-EWS/ OBC (NCL categories), it is INR 800. 

Admission to BTech at IIT Goa is JEE Advanced based. Candidates seeking admission to BTech cannot get admission to any IIT with only the scores of JEE Main. JEE Advanced followed by JEE Main is the complete requirement. After the selection exams are over, JoSAA Counselling is conducted for seat allotment of BTech courses. Candidates who are eligible to get a seat need to pay the admission fee to confirm their admission to the shortlisted course.

IIIT Allahabad accpets JEE Main score for admission to the BTech courses. As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 closing rank for BTech ranged between 4817 and 8428 for BTech. 

So, considering the previous year Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks, candidates seeking admission to IIIT Allahabad must secure a rank over and above 4800 and 9600 for the General ALL India category candidates.

IIT Goa BTech cutoff 2025 was concluded with the release of the final rounds of cutoff for various categories belonging to the All India quota. 

For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff was 5626, which later increased to 6242 in the last round. For the OBC AI quota, the cutoff ranged between 2101 and 2247, according to the first and last round, respectively.

To get admission to BTech at IIT Goa, candidate must have a valid rank in the JEE Advanced exam. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India quota.
