The course-wise placement details for the Class of 2025 are yet to be released on the official website of IIT Kharagpur. As per the media reports, over 400 recruiters visited the IIT Kharagpur campus for 2025 placements and offered over 1,800 job offers, including 409 PPOs and 25 international offers to the students. To answer the second question of whether IIT Kharagpur BTech fee is expensive or not, the fee for all IITs is almost similar to each other. However, it is comparatively less than top private BTech colleges such as BITS where the BTech tuition fee goes up till INR 19 lakh. 

IIT Kharagpur cutoff 2025 was released for admission to BTech(Hons), BSc courses and their specialisations, as well as for the BArch course for all rounds and categories under the All India quota.

The last round cutoff in 2025 ranged from 466 to 19141 for the General AI category students, wherein BTech (Hons) Computer Science and Engineering was the toughest branch to get admission to. On the other hand, the easiest course for admission was the Bachelor of Architecture.

IIT Kharagpur JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 has been released for round 3. The cutoff was released category-wise for students seeking admission to the BTech/Integrated BTech/BSc specialisations at the college. For candidates belonging to the General AI category, the cutoff ranks varied between 450 and 18182. As per the cutoff range, it is possible to get admission to the college at 10,000 rank in JEE Advanced. IIT Kharagpur offers BTech and Integrated BTech courses based on JEE Advanced scores.
