Fully satisfied till now and everything is going good.

Placements: Nearly 80 percent of students are placed from batch of this year in campus placements. Many of them also get the internship placement. The highest package is 26 LPA for electrical engineering and the lowest package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TATA and Bhel. Top roles offered are senior electrical engineering and we can also go for other civil exams because it is a core branch.

Infrastructure: Many facilities are provided by IIT mandi such as room heater in classrooms, Wi-Fi and LAN ports in hostel. Separate study room in each floor to study is there. A big library is there to assist students for many books. There are many facilities in hostel, there is a fridge and a microwave on each floor. There is also iron facility. Food is normal but not so good. There is every game and there is annual sports meet also. It has also mountain biking game so that students can also learn driving on the mountains.

Faculty: There are so many exams and labs. Teachers are helpful and qualified. Many of them have also taught in foreign universities also. Teaching quality is also good. And the course curriculum is revised every year, it is mainly focused to make students industry ready. Semester exams are very difficult and pass percentage is 5 CGPA.

Other: I have allotted this course in the final round of Jossa so I have taken it. Now in IIT mandi, there are many fests and also technical meets. IIT mandi is at 20th position in the ranking this year which is a great achievement. There is not so much crowd in the campus, so everyone gets a chance to do everything, and scholarship is also provided to students who are really in need of it. Extra-curricular activities are so many, and the campus surroundings are mountains that makes it unique among all institutes.

Awesome weather. Good infrastructure.

Placements: I am in 2nd year. So till now nobody from my batch got placement. But I have seen my seniors, 7 of them got internships at google. Placements of 4th yearties is also nice. Last year IIT Mandi Nirf ranking boost up to a remarkable level. It's because of higher rate of placements here.

Infrastructure: Study rooms and common rooms are well organized. Washrooms are not good enough. Balcony view is worth it, there is induction, microwave, kettle, fridge, iron, automatic washing machines in the hostel (on ground floor mostly). There are tt table in common rooms. Although there is a TV as well but only one TV works out of all hostels.

Faculty: Faculty here is nice. Curriculum is not that good maybe because I was a part of covid batch everything was mismanaged. Curriculum shows different dates of exam, faculty members take exam on different days. Attendance is also according to professor. Exam Can be one midsem + endsem or quizez .

Other: IIT Mandi is well known for its beauty. You will be living in a campus surrounded by mountains. You can go for a hike with friends when bored. You will definitely become fit after coming here because everywhere you have to go by walking (except north south route-there is a bus for that). Tourist places are so near whenever 3-4 days holidays you can go for a small trip. It's fun being a part of this IIT. In summers, there's hot in afternoons and cold In nights. Change of whether is awesome.

College experience of IIT Mandi.

Placements: 85 percent of students got placed last year. Google, Microsoft, DE Shaw, Arista Networks, Warner Bros., Inmobi, Zomato, Sprinklr, and Avalara are some top recruitment companies. Some mass recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Global Logic, and HCL. Some PSUs are HPCL, BPCL, etc.

Infrastructure: All facilities are there, from wifi to libraries and classrooms. Refrigerator, oven and inductions are provided at hostels. Irons, geysers and all other accommodations are also there. There were separate meals too for Jain and vegetarians. Lots of sporting clubs and equipment were provided to excel in all games.

Faculty: Just like all IIT, a similar pattern is followed here. It is easier to pass but hard to get a decent grade. Faculties got their PHD degrees from top colleges around the world and are specialized in their subjects. All labs, classes, doubt classes and others were provided.

I am satisfied with its teachers, hostel, academics, placements, and mess food.

Placements: Almost 95% of students got placed. The average salary package offered ranges between 25 LPA - 30 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Sprinkler, and Samsung.

Infrastructure: Laboratories and classrooms are good with all equipment. Hostel facilities are better. The sports facility is good in this college.

Faculty: Professors are good at their jobs, and the structure of courses for 4 years is the best. If we attend classes regularly, then we can easily score 8 CGPA.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in electrical and software domains. There are many opportunities and exposures for students. Seniors are also very friendly.

IIT Mandi: The heart of nature.

Placements: In our course of electrical engineering, almost 90-95% students get placed every year in whichever domain they want. The lowest package offered in electrical core course is about 12 LPA and the highest this year was about 44 LPA. Top recruiting companies for electrical engineering branch are nvidia, Qualcomm, Samsung while for non core students the companies are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, samsung, Adobe, blinkit, Flipkart, jabong, etc. Almost 80-85% students got internship mainly in non core domains like software developers jobs and the main recruiters are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, samsung, Adobe, blinkit, Flipkart, jabong, etc. Top roles offered are software developers, head of software developers team, website manager, website creator, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities are quite good. You can find every necessary resource you want like library, fully equipped labs, good Wi-Fi, etc. The classrooms are spacious and suitable for studies. Hostels are quite nice and clean. Mess food is good in comparison to other college's mess. There is a little shortage of resource in our canteens but still they are quite okay. We are well equipped with medical facilities and they quite good. Even in COVID duration they handled things in a nice way. The best part of IIT Mandi is its sports community. I don't think there is any common sport which you may not find here. Every sports and games are here like cricket, badminton, football, hockey, basketball, volleyball, lawn tennis, chess, squash, etc.

Faculty: Teachers are well educated. All the professors are PhD+ qualified and some of them have taught Ph.D. students too. Teaching quality is okay but it is better than that of other colleges. But you have to take help from other sources to understand better. Course curriculum is quite good. It is designed after a lot of discussion and it helps students to get ready for the industry. There are some easy exams which can be easily cleared by everyone but end semester exams are quite tough to qualify. One needs to study hard to qualify them.
