IIT Jodhpur Admission 2026: Cutoff, Fees, Eligibility & Selection

Yes, the institute offers scholarships to meritorious students. Merit cum means scholarships are offered in each academic year to all the categories of students. To avail of the scholarship, an applicant must satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria. The application form for a scholarship can be collected from the Office of Students, Administration Building.

Candidates with a proven academic record based on a cut-off of the GATE, CSIR or UGC scorecard or equivalent are eligible to apply for PhD at IIT Jodhpur. The institute shortlist students based on their score in the entrance examination. Shortlisted students need to appear for the personal interview round. Candidates further must hold the relevant documents as a proof of eligibility.

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, opening rank was 11548 and closing rank was 13138. The Cutoffs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 19626 and 21250. Admission to BTech in Civil and Infrastructure Engineering in IIT Jodhpur - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

Every year, NTA conducts the JEE Main entrance exam for the selection of eligible candidates in IIT, NIT and IIITs. The admission process for JEE Main 2026 (session 1) registrations has been completed. JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam was held from January 21 to 30, and session 2 will be held from April 2 to 9.  January 21 to 30.

The IIT Jodhpur MBA applications are completely online. At the time of filling the application form, candidates have to pay the application fee via Net Banking/ Credit Card or Debit Card. Candidates seeking admission to the BSc at IIT Jodhpur must meet the minimum IIT Jodhpur BSc eligibility criteria. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 examination in relevant stream from a recognised board can get admission to the BSc programme offered at IIT Jodhpur.

IIT Jodhpur JAM cutoff 2025 was released for round 1. The cutoff was released for admission to MSc and Integerated MSc specialisations, for different categories belonging to the All India category candidates. Among the General AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks ranged between 378 and 716. The cutoff ranks among the OBC AI category candidates, the ranks closed between 473 and 978.

IIT Jodhpur Cutoff 2024 for MSc admission has been concluded. The last-round closing ranks among the General AI category closed at a range of 311 and 889. Therefore, it is possible for the candidate to get admission at the given ranks in a few specialisations. The General AI category student having the cutoff rank between 550-600 can get admission to M.Sc. + M.Tech. in Physics and Materials Engineering, with the last-round closing rank of 889. Since the Cutoff is released category-wise, the chances of getting admission would depend on the category as well.

For BTech, as per the JoSAA R6 2022 cutoff for general category students, the closing rank for popular courses like CSE was 2430, and 3257 for AI and data science. The cutoff for Bioengineering went till 14,933. In comparison to 2021, the rank for the CSE course went from 2897 to 2430 in 2022. IIT JAM 2022 closing rank in the Fourth Admission List for MSc Physics specialisation at IIT Jodhpur stood at 600. The total tuition fee for the MTech course ranges from INR 52,000 to INR 80,000. It is a full-time course of a two-year duration. IIT Jodhpur MTech course is offered in 12 specialisations. Candidates seeking admission can register on the institute’s official website along with the registration on Common Offer Application Portal (COAP). IIT Jodhpur releases a list of shortlisted students based on GATE scores and invites them for a written exam or interview.

To get a seat at IIT Jodhpur BSc programme, candidates must appear for JEE Main followed by the JEE Advanced exam and the shortlisted candidates must appear for the JoSAA Counselling to confirm their admission.

Admission to the BTech programme at IIT Jodhpur is based on performance in the all-India level Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main), followed by JEE Advanced. Based on JEE Advanced score, candidates need to take part in JoSAA counselling. Candidates can apply on the JEE official website (nta.ac.in). Candidates who secure a rank more than or equal to the IITJ BTech cutoff become eligible for admission.
