Excellent choice for women seeking quality education, and personal growth.
Placements: For sociology honors students, there's no such thing as placements. But IP provides various internships during the program through which we get to work in different forms and NGOs, through which we can build experiences and networks. But if you are going for other courses then the placements are good.
Infrastructure: I would say that infrastructure of IP is really good. It has all the amenities that a college should have as, a cultural building, a separate building for sports, big and spacious library. It also has a swimming court as well as inbuilt gym facilities. I was not part of IP hostel but through my friends, I got to know that everything was fine. But canteen is not really good.
Faculty: I would say the faculty members of IP are really good. All the professors are willing and ready to help and guide you. I never felt there was any lack in the quality of education IP provided. They will make you ready for future fields that we as students will be choosing.
Other: It is not good for other cultural activities. There's no social life. Fest happens every year but compared to other colleges it is really racing.

Recently, we celebrated 100th year of IP. The environment here is very peaceful ,feels safe to stay.
Placements: The highest salary offered in 2024 at IP College is Rs. 1,00,000 per month, while the lowest is Rs. 30,000 per month. The median package for 2023 was INR 5.38 LPA for UG and INR 7 LPA for PG. Some of the top recruiting companies include Wipro, EY, and Deloitte. Students also receive internship offers, including paid and unpaid opportunities. In IP College, the B.Com department provides the maximum placement, around 50%. Then come CS and other departments.
Infrastructure: No doubt, the infrastructure of our college is top-notch. We have Wi-Fi all over the college. The size of the classrooms is very big with big windows, and the library is huge. It has 3 floors, and the environment is very peaceful. We get all kinds of books there. We have 2 hostels available for girls, and they are very well maintained.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are well-qualified, and they are very helpful and knowledgeable as well. The course is very relatable, as the whole of Delhi University follows the same curriculum, which helps us to get the best-designed course and education. If we study well, the semester exams are a cakewalk, and the passing percentage is somewhat 5 CGPA. Also, we need to maintain 66% attendance.
Other: This college is worth the money we are paying. We have very few colleges that provide sociology, and IP is one of them. It has sociology, and the faculty, environment of the college, and infrastructure, including the location of the college, are very good. My parents are relaxed and assured after sending me here.

The crowd and infrastructure are amazing here.
Placements: In sociology, getting 9 points is tough so above 8.5 is the highest score here. I am new in this field of sociology but my seniors have published their papers in many places and won prizes also. This course offers a research field and in-depth knowledge.
Infrastructure: I think our library is very useful. It has every book in my course which is useful. I love our college infrastructure. It is all greenery, beautiful and very peaceful. I do not know about the hostel as I am not a hostel student. However, I heard that it is good. They do events for hostel students very frequently.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They have changed pretty recently but that one month we spent with them was incredible. Exams are never difficult if students just know the concept. They are pretty easy and interesting.
Other: I chose this course because Sociology intrigued me and I really wanted to know more about this course. I like it a lot. The campus crowd here is amazing. It is a girl's college, but I love it.

IPCW heart of Delhi University.
Placements: Around 70% of students in our course here have 30 LPA, which is the highest and 5 LPA is the average. Many companies recruit for the official social work. But for getting selection, one should be very passionate and hardworking. Talking about sociology, although people assumed that it isn't a highly paid subject, the post for social workers in UN, NGO, those who paid appoint the students.
Infrastructure: The campus is beautiful, and there is a vast playground. There are also facilities for sports such as badminton, football, and basketball. The hostels are on campus, and they are clean and well-maintained. In addition, there are plenty of places to eat on campus, which is very convenient for students.
Faculty: The faculty in the sociology department are very good. The teachers are very helpful and well educated, with most of them having done their PhDs at one of the top universities, like JNU. This course opened our minds and taught us to look beyond the facade. Semester exams are not that difficult. If we study well, we should get an average of 6 CGPA.
Other: I got admission to Indraprastha College for Women (IPCW) through the CUET, which was introduced under the National Education Policy (NEP). CUET is a centralized test for admission to central level universities. To be selected, one must score at least 650 marks. IPCW and the course I took were my first choices. I like the course very much and I worked hard to get my first preference. The course opened my mind and taught me to look beyond the facade, to understand that everything that happens has a reason behind it. IPCW's annual fest, called SHRUTI, is celebrated in March or April. The campus crowd is very positive and welcoming. There are different events and competitions held in the college every 15 days or so, which makes the study environment more interesting and enthusiastic.
