Absolutely satisfied with the infrastructure, staff, and faculty members.
Placements: The placement for this course is quite good, and it helps students who are more focused on going for UPSC and professors. The percentage of students getting placed in companies is around 20-30%, and companies like MNCs and others are very good and decent.
Infrastructure: Perfect infrastructure and hostels, availability of Wi-Fi, restrooms, GCR, a library for the department itself, and the canteen food are awesome. The hostels are pretty neat and good, and they are reliable and trustworthy, making it worth the money that we spend here.
Faculty: The teachers here are very highly qualified and educated. They have PhDs and doctorates, and they have been teaching for a minimum of 20 years. Their guidance and support are helpful for students. The staff is very helpful; they guide you through every problem and issue and help you out.

It is the best and most affordable college.
Placements: Many students got placed in our college at good companies. Our course doesn't offer placement opportunities. This course is not like other professional courses such as law, engineering, and management. If you perform well in any college, you will get placed in some good companies.
Infrastructure: Our department is Wi-Fi enabled. We have a huge seminar room, where teachers and students discuss events and programs. Toilets are clean. RO drinking water is available in our department. The food served in the canteen is affordable. They provide vegetarian food items for Rs.30. Our college provides us with sports and games facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and helpful. They are well-qualified and experienced. They have good knowledge. This course provides us with knowledge of real societal issues and the contemporary world. Exams are not much difficult. If you want to do well, then you must study better and practice previous years' question papers. The pass percentage is good.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. I wanted to know the real issues of society and sociology. Our college is under Central University.

It is an excellent university and I recommend joining it.
Placements: Our college has no placements. Other departments at this university provide placements, but the sociology department specifically does not provide them. Although there is a placement cell where one can get the relevant information regarding the placement in any course. One can secure a job after completing this course by taking part in the placement drives organised on campus.
Infrastructure: Our college has excellent facilities. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. The library and playgrounds are available. Our classrooms are a bit compact but sufficient for 35 students. The sociology department has its library beside the central library. The hostel is good. One room is shared by three students, and it has very good facilities. The hostel is provided based on various factors, like the percentage secured in 12th or graduation, whichever is applicable, distance from home, NCC and sports certificate holders, etc. The mess is good. There is a health care center that is free for bonafide students of the university.
Faculty: Our teachers are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. They can clear our doubts at any time. The course is quite smooth, and it is friendly to students. The semester exams are good. If you study properly, you will easily pass. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: The course is affordable. The campus life is vibrant. Many activities occur on campus at regular intervals, which is good.

Various facilities provided in the university would be helpful for students.
Placements: Roles offered are CSR, journalistic jobs, content writer, proofreader and editor for reputed publications including different non technical roles in corporate sectors including HR consultancy and management. Students have got jobs in various think tanks and policy-making organisation which would enable them to make use of the research skills they have learnt in the course.
Infrastructure: The college has an excellent infrastructure. The department of sociology boasts of great facilities on campus including affordable canteen serving sumptuous food at a low cost. Free access to department library 24*7 is also a plus point for the students.
Faculty: The professors are highly skilled with tremendous knowledge of their discipline. They are very approachable and student-friendly. The research scholars and graduate students are also helpful in providing the students with the right guidance and direction to excel in their field. The curriculum is designed in a way that it gives practical knowledge to students along with theoretical understanding which is important to make students industry-ready.

I'm very satisfied by the college and its surroundings.
Placements: The college itself got A+ grade which made a hike in the gaining the companies for placements. The top roles offered in sociology are NGO work, etc. Salary packages offered are not much in this field as only Bachelor's is too little for a high salary.
Infrastructure: The main campus area is so wide that it offers a lot of space for different types of infrastructure, such as hostels, and medical facilities. But Jamia has its own impressive sports complex which is huge in size and visible from the metro which is an eye-catching view.
Faculty: The academic performance of the college is so good, that consistently every year it comes under Top-8 in the NIRF ranking. As we have a vast syllabus and we all have got admission through entrance exams, so competition is cutthroat and as a result, we have difficult semesters exams, but if we study well 33% marks we can for passing.
Other: We have different fests, functions, and recognised personalities come in our college. We have good Wi-Fi connectivity in 2022 and in 2019 we had TED talks on the main campus.

Q:   What is the admission process of Jamia milia islamia after getting CUET result?
A:

The full form of CUET is Central University Entrance Test which is an all-India level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission to undergraduate courses offered in various participating colleges. After the students receive their CUET scores, the university will start calling students for counselling rounds, and then other admission and selection-related processes will take place. The candidates can check past year cut-off information on the official website.

Q:   Can I get into JMI for BA without CUET?
A:

As per the CUET UG website, students seeking admission to BA at Jamia Millia must appear for and qualify CUET exam. However, since some universities are also considering other components while giving admission to CUET-UG based courses, it could be a possibility of getting into JMI without CUET. One can come to the campus and go directly to the Makhtab and get previous years' papers which will give you an insight of what would be asked in the exams, or follow any standard book on sociology and current affairs. That will do the trick. All the best.
