The best private college. Good placements and the teachers are so helpful.
Placements: Placements are good this year. Also, if you maintain discipline and follow their instructions, we can get good placements. They also guide students who want to do higher studies or start a startup. They are too concerned about their students, the best college indeed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not so much fancy. The food quality of the hostel and canteen is very good. There are also good medical facilities available in the college sports zone, like a basketball court, which is also there. They organize sports tournaments, also interschool.
Faculty: Faculty are very concerned about their students. All faculty members are very helpful. Faculty inspires the students to work on projects to encourage them. Faculty are too updated, they are so friendly and helpful.
Other: Unique fests are held there, like photography, gaming, cultural, and all types. They organize fest, hackathon.

IEM Kolkata - An overview of the total experience.
Placements: Most students get placed in reputed companies, and students from the last batch are well placed. The highest package offered is more than 84 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Adobe, TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, etc. If a student has good academic performance and well-developed skills, then IEM is the best place to grab on to well-provided future opportunities.
Infrastructure: IEM does have modern technologies, but it surely lacks a lot in infrastructure when compared to other institutions. The college hostel does provide proper housing facilities and food. However, it cannot directly compare to the best food we would find around the area.
Faculty: Teachers are surely helpful in terms of providing the best possible help in terms of academics. A personal mentor assists students throughout their academics for the best possible guidance that they will need. The course curriculum is relevant, but it is also strict. Semester exams are strict and require a thorough understanding of subjects.

    Mediocre Facility and Infrastructure.
Placements: Top recruiting companies would be Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, IBM, etc. No successful internships yet, 3% from our course have gotten into paid internships till now. Top internship companies are Wipro, Cognizant. Top roles would be graphic designer, etc.
Infrastructure: Library is pretty basic, 1st-year students are not allowed to borrow books and visit during classes. Classrooms in B.Tech have no air conditioning facilities. Wi-Fi is poor (only 1GB allowed per device), canteen food is okay, only meals are available, no snacks. As for campus, we have the main building and a basketball court. Café Coffee Day is available within the campus but is overpriced. Food available outside the campus in the street is more preferred.
Faculty: Teaching quality is mediocre. The course curriculum is relevant. There are courses like entrepreneurship and SDP-ESP which prepare students for the industry. Plus, there have been a few lectures by top industrialists in person. Semester exams have a moderate difficulty level, but there's barely enough time to prepare. No holidays are given. There are a total of 3 exams in a semester, along with practical exams. There are also tons of assignments and projects and hackathons given.

Good, but not the best. I think it's average.
Placements: As a Computer Science student, I have some advice for the students that, Let x = DSA & y = Project, placement = 2x + y, where x>y, y != 0. Every year, from my course, more than 65% of students get placement through campus and off-campus. This year, the top recruiter was Royal Enfield.
Infrastructure: Our college provided us with many facilities, such as labs for every subject, like C lab, Data Structure lab, Java lab, and IT lab. 24/7 LAN connectivity, fresh environment, and equipment.
Faculty: Apart from all the facilities, I personally liked the training programme. I have attended two training programs. First, they taught us HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, JQuery, PHP, and MySQL. While in the second one, I learn Python, Django, Bootstrap, and SQLite.
Other: If you are choosing Computer Science, then this is the best place for you. Best of luck. I was very passionate about my course and gave my full potential in it.

We have a good infrastructure and facilities. The library is 24/7, and events happen every weekend.
Placements: Institute of Engineering and Management Salt Lake records 85 to 90 percent placement records, where the median package is 6 Lacs per annum. The top recruiter offers a package of 32 Lacs per annum from Amazon SDE, while the lowest package from our college is 4 Lacs per annum. Many companies, including TCS, Cognizant, etc., came for placements.
Infrastructure: The quality of the food in the mess is good, and medical facilities are also available 24/7. Sports and games have good facilities as well. The faculty and infrastructure are really nice, the Wi-Fi is always available, and the library is open all day. The classrooms are quite well advanced.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The course is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in the college are really difficult; the pass percentage is 70-80%. Many students get back in more than 2-4 subjects every semester.
Other: I chose this course because I have a keen interest in cybersecurity, and I get to learn a lot of things from this college. There are events every weekend that you can organize as well as participate in; it is worth it.

Review of Institute of Engineering and Management College.
Placements: The placement records of IEM were good. More than 95% of students were placed. TCS, Accenture, IBM, PwC, and Capgemini were the companies that hired the most. The highest package was offered by Oracle at 22 LPA. Some startups also hired from IEM, such as Tismo Ltd, Jman, Keyence, etc.
Infrastructure: In the college campus, Wi-Fi facility was available, but the problem was that you can only connect to one Wi-Fi network. For example, if you connected to the Wi-Fi on the first floor and then went to the third floor, you can not connect to the Wi-Fi there because you were already connected to the first-floor Wi-Fi. Classrooms and labs were okay, neither very good nor very bad. There was a library that was open 24/7, but in college hours, you can't go and use the library, as they will think you were bunking classes.
Faculty: Most of teachers were helpful. They helped you pass the exams, and that's all. The teaching quality was not up to the mark. Most of the time, you needed to watch YouTube lectures after the class. The course structure was good. Even in the ECE curriculum, they added CS subjects like DBMS and OS, which helped with placements. The semester exams were not that difficult even if you studied two days before the exam, you can easily pass.
Other: To be honest, I didn't like the campus life and didn't participate in any extracurricular activities. I solely joined the course because of the placement records, and I got placed in 4 companies, so in that way, it was value for money to me.
