Sultanpur is not industrial area. Attendance policy is not good. Placements decreasing year by year.
Placements: 50-60% of students were placed last year in Electronics Engineering. The highest package offered is 45 LPA, which is off-campus and offered by Amazon. While on campus, the highest placement is 15 LPA, the lowest packages offered are 3.5-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. Almost 60-70% of students are offered an internship. Top roles offered are software developer, frontend/backend developer, system engineer, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is only available in the hostels, not in the campus area. Classrooms are pretty good, with full of air conditioning and are clean. The labs are also decent, they have a lot of equipment which is used in Electronics Engineering. The library of the college is not so good, it doesn't have the books you want.
Faculty: The faculty members are pretty good, helpful, and supportive. Every faculty member has done or is doing a Ph.D. in their field. Also, faculty members are not so serious about the attendance, except for some. This course is relevant if you are in the Electronics branch, they have very high Hod, and you can also make your career in research, or you may also go for placement. Since the college is autonomous, papers are made by the faculty who teach the students, which makes it easy to moderate.
Other: The quality education with the best faculty members makes this course more good. I think they should engage the students in tech things. Almost 1-2 events occur in college per month. The fest of colleges is also pretty good. The campus does not have a lot of crowd, which is also better. Connectivity of the college is not good since Sultanpur is not an industrial area. Almost every student got the scholarship in the course. Students also engage in extracurricular activities. There are a lot of extracurricular activities organized by seniors in college.

Excellent academic curriculum, strong industry connections, and top-notch campus facilities.
Placements: Around 85% of the students in our course are placed through campus recruitment, with the highest package being ₹18 LPA (offered by a top tech firm), the lowest package ₹3.2 LPA, and the average package ₹6.5 LPA; some of the top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, Amazon, and Accenture, while around 70% of students secured internships in companies like Deloitte, EY, IBM, Infosys, and various startups.
Infrastructure: Department has well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a digital library. The hostels are decent with good hygiene, food is average, medical support is available 24/7, and sports facilities include courts, a gym, and indoor games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. Most of them hold postgraduate or doctoral degrees and have good teaching experience. They explain concepts clearly and are approachable outside class hours for doubts and guidance. The course curriculum is fairly relevant and regularly updated with input from industry experts. It covers both theoretical foundations and practical skills through labs and projects. Topics like programming, data structures, and emerging technologies (like AI and cloud computing) help make students industry-ready. Guest lectures and workshops further enhance industry exposure. Semester exams are moderately difficult and test conceptual understanding.
Other: I chose this course for its focus on technology and problem-solving. The best aspects include modern tech exposure, hands-on projects, and experienced faculty. Improvements could include more industry workshops and soft skills development. Campus life is vibrant with fests, clubs, and sports.

Review of Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology.
Placements: Frankly speaking, the placement scenario in KNIT depends only on the students. If you are an early bird and consistent in the path of the coding journey. There are higher chances of getting placed. If you possess the skills required for company then you can get a decent pay. On campus the highest is I think is 16 LPA. TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Meditek are top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi of college is very strong. Moreover, the HOD of the electronics department is very amiable. There are inclined classrooms available. Regarding hostel facilities they are messes. Canteen is nice but it lacks medical facilities.
Faculty: The curriculum is outdated, especially in the first year but for the electronics branch, it's worth it for 3-4 years. If you have skills then you will get placed. The teaching staff of electronics is decent. The marking system is also good. It is based on pointers only. I got near about 9.7 CGPA in my first sem. In addition, I have done more than half of DSA, python development, and many more things. Faculty members are good and willing to teach.
Other: Generally, scholarship is provided to students having low annual income below 2.5. A merit scholarship is also provided Rs. 3,000 for the top 10% of students of their respective branches provided that they have not got this UP scholarship.

Infrastructure is good, but for placements, you have to put a lot of effort.
Placements: KNIT Sultanpur has a dedicated training and placement cell that facilitates student placements. While placement statistics can vary annually, the institute has seen participation from companies such as Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and other regional firms. Students from computer science and related branches often have higher placement rates compared to other disciplines.
Infrastructure: The campus spans approximately 100 acres and includes essential facilities such as academic buildings, hostels, a central library, laboratories, workshops, and sports amenities. Classrooms and labs are well-equipped. Hostels have Wi-Fi facility, and you will find food of good quality.
Faculty: KNIT comprises experienced professors and lecturers, many of whom hold advanced degrees in their respective fields. However, as with many institutions, the teaching methodologies and faculty engagement can vary across departments. As it is affiliated with AKTU, it follows the same curriculum, changed a bit in the past few years.

It is much better than private and many other government colleges under AKTU.
Placements: There is a good environment for GATE preparation. Most students from IT, CS, and Electronics branches get placed in companies like TCS, Infosys, Bloomberg, HCL, BHEL, etc. Many students from core branches prepare for the GATE examination to do M.Tech from top institutes in India.
Infrastructure: The quality of food varies from day to day, but on average, it is good. The college provides free Wi-Fi, AC classrooms, cold water, good benches, and regular visits from a doctor. There is also a college ambulance available. Our college offers many sports like cricket, badminton, and volleyball, and we participate in many intra-IIT competitions like Kashi Yatra.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. If you ask questions, they explain to you many times as needed. They mainly teach the topics that are came in exams. Many teachers give us assignments that help us predict the types of questions that may come in exams, and previous year's papers also help us a lot.
Other: If you want to prepare for the GATE examination, you will get a good environment here. There are many councils that help you improve your overall personality.
