It is an excellent college.

Placements: Students with a CGPA of more than 7.5 are placed. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA - 40 LPA. Top recruiting companies like HCL, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, ABB, Bosch, Tech Mahindra, etc., visit our campus. About 40 companies visit our campus. Almost all students get internships based on their interests.

Infrastructure: Our college has excellent infrastructure. Our college provides Wi-Fi access to students with laptops. KPR has spent a lot on lab infrastructure to upskill students, and it is active 24X7. Our college provides a wonderful classroom environment for students to study with laptops. Each bench has a power socket and each class has a smart projector. Central Library has more than 25,000 physical books. KPR provides a wonderful hostel with six normal hostels and two international hostels for NRI and Indian students. The mess provides quality and a variety of foods for students. The college has more than 2 food courts and 6 cafeterias for the wellness of students. Our college has many indoor courts for badminton, kabaddi, and tennis, as well as outdoor courts for cricket, football, handball, volleyball, basketball, and throwball to help students develop their athletic abilities. KPR also provides a wonderful gym for students to maintain their physical fitness. Our college also has a medical room with all the facilities needed for medical emergencies.

Faculty: Our teachers are well qualified, with a minimum of a Ph.D. They are very friendly and they help students until 6 PM. Our college developed the best curriculum for mechatronics, which makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 90%.

Other: I chose mechatronics because I was very fond of robotics and electronics. The college conducts many cultural events and a technical festival named FIESTA, which is held every February. The college has 15 technical clubs named IGNITRON and 15 non-technical clubs named SANGAMAM to showcase students' talents. Our college provides many scholarships for students, especially full scholarships for government school students and SC and ST students, and also partial scholarships for NRI students.
