Other: It is the best college in west Bengal. A healthy natural place for study, but the communication system is very costly to the place. The faculty is very good and so are the placements. It has hi tech laboratories and also a big library. I love my college and I am proud of it.

It always depends upon the difficulty level of question, but I would suggest you to score atleast 35+ marks to get addmission in kgec specially for electrical and mechanical department, scoring 40 will 100% guarantee your admission.

You will have to get a rank within 15 in department, for that 35 marks are quite enough. Score 35 in JELET and get admission in KGEC.

Please mention your branch. It seems possible for you to get chance in JGEC. You might get a chance in KGEC. Please tell me your branch for confirmation.

Sorry, but you will have to tell about your branch rank to know whether you are eligible for govt college or not.

If your branch rank is 50-60, then you may get a govt college but I think at 1072 GMR your branch should be above 100. So, there is less chance of getting a govt college for mechanical.

In actual, prediction of general rank requirement is quite tough, but if your branch rank is under 20, then you can take admission in KGEC. For a rough figure, you can expect that under 200 GMR is quite safe for getting admission.

Expected cut off for CSE in KGEC through JELET is 30(approximately), this changes every year according to difficulty level of question paper, but you can expect that cut off will not deviate that much from 30.

Admission in KGEC is done only based on WBJEE rank. If you secure a good rank (1500-3000) in WBJEE, you can take admission here.
