Good colleges around Delhi.

Placements: My name is Vedant Shukla, and I am currently pursuing my B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) from KIET Group of Institutions Ghaziabad. Talking about placements 70 to 75 percent students from the EEE branch get placed each year. Highest package offered in our branch has been around 10 LPA, lowest around 3 LPA and average package range is between 4 and 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Teach Mahindra and few core companies like L&T and Schneider Electric.

Infrastructure: KIET Group of Institutions provides good infrastructure for the EEE department with well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a rich library with both technical and non-technical books. Hostel facilities are decent with 24/7 water and electricity, Wi-Fi, and regular cleanliness. Food in the mess is average but hygienic, and canteen offers multiple snacks options. Campus has good sports facilities, including basketball, volleyball, cricket grounds, and a gym. Medical facilities are available on campus with a doctor and an ambulance for emergencies.

Faculty: Faculty in the EEE department at KIET are supportive, experienced, and qualified. Most teachers use a mix of theory and practical examples, and some use PPTs and smart boards. Curriculum is updated as college is autonomous and aligns well with industry requirements, including subjects like IoT, AI, and EVs. Semester exams are moderately difficult if you study regularly. Pass percentage is around 85 to 90%, and internal assessment also helps in maintaining good grades. Faculty is supportive and knowledgeable.

Value for money in a great location.

Placements: The placement rate of students in my department is 100 percent. Our department had the highest pay package of 15 LPA. The top companies that recruited from the department were Amazon, Flipkart, JSW, and TCS etc. Approximately 80% of our class received internships while still in school, and the rest found them outside of school.

Infrastructure: The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled, and the classrooms are also fully air conditioned. The classroom is spacious and the desks are comfortable. The library has all the books needed to study and all the materials needed. Also, there is plenty of food that is always high quality, and medical facilities are available.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to students. They're highly qualified and have a lot of domain knowledge. The curriculum matches the course and gets the students ready for work. The pass rate for the college is 30%.

Other: College generally organise event monthly which include cultural and technical fest.

Good college for students who are here for studies.

Placements: Almost every student is placed in electrical and electronics branch. The highest salary is around 18 LPA to 20 LPA. Cognizant and other companies in which there are need for engineers for designing. The roles that are offered because of our course are in various places like in government sector and private sector. It also manages power and generation and also involved in chip manufacturing and designing new ICs and other things.

Infrastructure: Good facilities are provided by the college. All the rooms are AC fitted and proper ventilation is there. Proper electrical machines are there for presentation and experimentation theory which we learn at the college or classes are implemented in the labs. Wi-Fi is also quite good. Library is big and there are a lot of books to read and learn from them. Quality of the food is quite good. There are also courts for playing basketball, badminton, and cricket.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and supportive. They try their best to teach us. This course is relevant and also good for other competitive exams. Moderate to hard levels of difficult of exams are taken in this branch, and average pass percentage is 70-80%.

Other: Electrical and electronics is the field in which I have an interest, I like creating new prototypes or designs of electrical or electronic gadgets. There are various events that are going on in our college for the betterment of the student's skills.

Placements: 100% of placements have been achieved in our branch in the last 4 years. In the time of COVID, when layoffs were a common part of life. Our college was ensuring that no student was left unplaced. The average package is 8.4 LPA and it increases according to market needs.

Infrastructure: Parle Agro has established an underground water recharge system in our college. Air-conditioned classrooms are there. Labs procure equipment from trusted companies which makes the lab experience wonderful. All classrooms are equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi.

Faculty: The course curriculum is based on the all-round development of students. The latest AKTU syllabus is followed which gets revised according to new education policy and market trends. Exams are of moderate level. However, there is always a possibility of a tough paper. One needs a command over language and subject matter to score good marks.
