Not so good college life and okayish academics but value for money.
Placements: Well, there is not much of placement in civil engineering here, as students usually go for further studies or engineering services from here. Here, some students get placed in sales companies as they offer some students here, but not with a very big package, those packages are just about 5-8 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not so good and not even up to the mark, but Biet, being a tier 3 college, it is okay as the buildings are not very dense and there is a lot of greenery here. Hostels have enough seating capacity but not with very good facilities. Wi-Fi and other facilities are also not very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very good. They are not so friendly but up to the mark, and the curriculum is kind of okay along with exams, and in academics as well, things go pretty good. Here, you will not find a lot of faculty members being kind to you or polite, but those who are strict here actually do care about you.
Other: Civil engineering is something that I chose because I wanted to go for engineering services, and there's not a lot of fests in this college, and campus life is also okay.

College has okayish academics, worse infrastructure, and even worse culture.
Placements: I am a civil engineering student, and I'm currently in my second year. We've not passed out yet, and hence we don't have any records on our placements or so, but some of our batchmates have done some sort of internships, but they were not provided by the institute, and we have to get them by ourselves in places like Parichha Power plant.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my course is not much as there's just a single building for civil engineering, and there are a number of hostels in our college, where 2 are for girls, and 7-8 are for boys. The infrastructure is not up to par, and only the main buildings are there, some important buildings are yet to be built.
Faculty: Faculty in our course is kind of good, they're very helpful. The curriculum is not that great, but it is kind of okayish. Exams are not so frequent either, there are 3 exams in a semester, where 2 are class tests, and one is a semester exam. The pass percentage is 30% in practical and internals, and for total marks it's 40%.
Other: I opted for civil engineering because of the number of opportunities this course provides, from the government sector to the corporate sector. Also, being one of the most flexible courses in civil engineering, we get a lot of time where we can work on our skills or explore other opportunities. Events are not very frequent, there are just 3-4 events per semester, and the sports culture is not that good for either. But as for scholarship, 75% of the fees are backed by the UP government scholarship.

It has strong labs and supportive faculty. There is scope for improvement in industry exposure.
Placements: Approximately 55-65% of students get placed, close to the institute-wide average of over 60%. Many professors are highly qualified, supportive during academic challenges, and offer guidance for GATE projects and internships.
Infrastructure: The central library holds more than 40,000 books and journals, including digital resources and access to online journals. Students also have access to a departmental library for Civil Engineering references. A 24x7 medical facility is available through the college dispensary, staffed with a president's medical officer. For severe cases, students are referred to the nearby government or private hospital in Jhansi.
Faculty: Faculty members in the Civil Engineering department at BIET Jhansi are generally well-qualified, with many holding M.Tech or PhD degrees from reputed institutes. The teaching methodology blends traditional chalk-and-talk with presentations and practical sessions. Faculty members incorporated field projects, surveys, and design models into learning activities, which enrich the understanding of applied engineering.

A decent college with good college life.
Placements: The placement is average in this college. Overall in 2024, a total of 50-plus companies visited with over 258 offers. The average package was from 5 to 6 LPA for all branches while the highest package in the year 2024 was in the ECE branch with 17 Lacs. Here core companies also come and give a decent package of 5-6 LPA. Some of the major companies are Airtel, Physics Wallah, TCS, Wipro, Prolit, and many more. Also, some top offered courses are associate software engineer, software engineer, full-stack developer, data research analyst, HR executive, Business development associate and site engineer, junior engineer, and many more. The internship average stipend was 20k and the highest was 1.06 Lacs.
Infrastructure: Well, if I talk about my college infrastructure, the buildings are okay, I mean not too new and not too old. Classrooms are nice, I mean I like them. The benches, titles, all were good with proper light, fans, and blackboard. In labs, half of the machines are just kept as they are functionless. For girls, hostel conditions are much better than for boys. For boys, the 1st-year allotted hostel is best and as you go to 2nd and 3rd year, hostel conditions get down. The same goes for mess food, like in 1st year, food is fine and also the mess charge is low so food is okay keeping the charges in mind. The hostel and college both have a good Wi-Fi connection. There is a library also with over 150 student capacity or more. Sports facility is nice here, various sports like football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, chess, badminton, and many more are organized in this college.
Other: I wanted to be an engineer and that's why I have chosen this course, B.Tech. Well, this course makes a student make time management and makes him versatile to survive in all conditions. Yes, many events and fests are organized in this college. For 1st year, freshers (Abhinandan), for 2nd year (Utsav) and for sports, leagues are organized in each sport. There are a total of 7 clubs which organize different events from time to time and yes, scholarship facility is also available here. The campus is average, most of the area is jungle but you will feel silence and less pollution here. Also, you can go out on campus and chill in canteens, temples, etc.

College review of my college.
Placements: More than 50% of students placed in this year from this college . But only from technical branches. For civil, the best company is Larsen and Toubro. There is no internship provided by the college . But mainly there is good scope in GATE from my college.
Infrastructure: There are only seven branches, and every branch has its separate department, and every branch has its own faculty . Infrastructure is good enough . Wi-Fi is available. Hostel food is average . There is only 1 canteen. And for every game, there is good scope.
Faculty: Faculty is good enough. If you are with good value and respect your teachers, then they help you in every field . College exams are not bad enough . Mostly students clear them and do well in examinations. They got a good score in their marksheet and cleared it.
Other: For fests, there are several fests which are organised by councils . There are several councils.

Short and concise but authentic.
Placements: Normally, 70% of students get placed at various levels, with top recruiting companies like L&T and TCS. About 60% of students secure internships by applying off-campus, as companies don't come to the college for internship placements.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is quite good, though not on par with IITs and NITs, but it's decent to live here. There are Wi-Fi classrooms and a library, though not in every department. Some hostels are newer and in good condition, but Saket hostel is older, so its condition is not up to the mark. Otherwise, everything is satisfactory.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive and help with attendance and other issues. The course content is quite relevant for GATE exams and helps prepare students for industry. Semester exams are moderately difficult.
Other: I got this course based on my rank, and the faculty in my department is good. I wish teachers would focus more on practical knowledge. Events and fests are conducted regularly, and overall, everything is well-organized.

Our college gives many opportunities for placement and development of skills.
Placements: About 40 to 50% of the students in my batch were placed. The highest package was 18 LPA, and the lowest was 6 LPA. L&T recruited 80% of the students. The top roles offered in my course were design-related, and the focus was on practical knowledge. The students developed their skills and performed well.
Infrastructure: There is a separate building for my department that houses six classrooms, a smart classroom, a transportation lab, an AutoCAD lab, a surveying lab, a hydraulics lab, and a library. In my hostel, there is a mess and a canteen, as well as a basketball court and a separate building for student activities.
Faculty: The teaching qualifications are very good. The curriculum is relevant, and we have a site visit every month. The semester exams are challenging but fair, with 50% hard and 40% moderate questions. The professors are thorough in checking our work, and approximately 85% of the students get between 5.0 and 9.5 GPA.
Other: I am pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering because I want to build bridges, highways, and other structures. I am also interested in participating in events like Mahotsav and sports tournaments such as zonal and pace.

I liked this college as there are no boundaries here, neither in career opportunities nor in TI.
Placements: Placement offers in civil engineering are the least here, and it is around 10-40%. The highest salary offered is Rs. 70,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 35,000 per month. Students prefer to learn coding here because companies like Wipro, TCS, etc., offer a number of opportunities. In our batch, almost 5 students are given internships with a stipend of Rs. 30,000 by various companies such as Byju's, TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: Hostel and mess facilities are awesome, including Wi-Fi and separate rooms for third and final years. Classrooms are not much renovated but in good condition. Here the library consists of numerous books, including management books which provide a good insight of marketing and management issues.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly knowledgeable here, but not too helpful because of free of cost salary they are getting. Don't worry about that because if you are in this college, it means that you have enough potential to crack any competition irrespective of the course you are doing.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to become a soil technician. This course is very easy but requires much patience which lacks in most of the engineers. Events held here are in a great number such as fresher party after that individual branch fresher, and then sports meet in the form of Pace and Prabhanjan, etc.

You JEE Main rank is outstanding and on the basis of this rank, you can get admission in top NITs also. However you will definitely get the admission in Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering and Technology in desired branch of engineering.
