Good infrastructure, faculty teaching, well-educated faculty members, and campus is also good.
Placements: I am pursuing electrical engineering at KIT College of Engineering. Around 70-75% of our seniors got placed in companies like Tata Power, Wipro, Pari, etc. They got good package around 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Our department also provides internships in industry. There are also mass recruitment drives in our college.
Infrastructure: Our electrical department is well equipped with machines and necessary devices needed for practical. In our lab, we have good Wi-Fi facilities. We have good classroom also. Our library is well-equipped with various books needed for all departments. Hostel of our college is clean and good it also has discipline.
Faculty: Most of our faculty members have completed PhD. Faculty members have good practical knowledge but they lack a little bit in theoretical knowledge. Our lab assistants are very helpful in practical sessions. Most of our syllabus contains theoretical subjects. It also includes practical sessions which give hands-on experience to the students. The average passing marks needed for students are for ESE exam out of 50, we need 20 marks compulsory to pass.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue electrical engineering in Kolhapur. Our branch is core branch that's why I chose this branch. Our college provides scholarships for students from reservations, and they also take project-based learning. Every semester, they conduct extracurricular activities, just a little improvement is needed. They do not provide college uniforms to students. I think that it is good to make compulsory uniform wear for students to maintain discipline.

The infrastructure and facilities are really good.
Placements: There are 90 percent of students placed in college. The average package is 500,000 per annum, and the highest package for electrical engineering in the college is 8.5 Lacs per annum for the electrical department. TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc., and many more companies give internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The teaching methods and facilities are very good. Teachers maintain a friendly environment with students; all the staff are well-educated. Wi-Fi is also available, and the college hostel is good. The meal is average, but the infrastructure of the hostel is good.
Faculty: The teaching quality of teachers is awesome. The teachers help students in each and every difficulty regarding their syllabus or exams, and they also make students industry-ready. The difficulty of semester exams is average, and there is combined passing, so we can easily pass out.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in electrical engineering. I chose this college because of its very good placement for this course. The teaching staff is very good. I don't think there's anything to improve in the college or the course. The campus of the college is very good, and many social activities are arranged in the college. There are many clubs in college that are run by students, so we can explore many things in college.

Your college is affiliated with KIT Kolhapur.
Placements: Taking the example of the last batch (2024-25), the placement rate of the Department of Electrical Engineering was about 60 to 70%, as committed by the department placement coordinator. While I don’t know the lowest package offered, the highest package is 7 LPA, with an average package of 5 LPA. Tata Power and Adani Power are the main recruiters for my course. Based on current data, Kirloskar Engine Oil Limited shortlisted 2 students out of 60 for a paid internship with a stipend of around ₹16,000 per month for the batch 2025-26. Common roles offered include testing, maintenance, and supervisors.
Infrastructure: Overall, the college is good, but there are frequent internet problems with Jio and Airtel networks; the campus has decent network coverage, and the computers are good and recently updated, though I don’t know about the girls’ hostel, but I personally don’t like the boys’ hostel as its infrastructure is very poor and seems like it could collapse anytime.
Faculty: College’s course syllabus or curriculum was good enough, and the teaching facilities were well qualified; my answer is yes, but there is a need for improvement, as they should focus more on practical knowledge instead of just hypothetical concepts, and the difficulty level is fair enough, but it somehow depends on the exam setter.

Good placement. Really good facilities.
Placements: Good Placement. This college gives the best career opportunities to students. Bentley Systems visits the college in the third year to hire interns, and the interns are then given job opportunities in the company. Many companies like KPIT, LTI, TCS and Tech Mahindra visited our college for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent, and the college is equipped with all facilities like Wi-Fi, digital classrooms, Labs and a central library. Our college is equipped with a huge playground for cricket and football and has a basketball court. There are facilities available like Wi-Fi, labs for all departments, every department has a separate building with various classrooms, Also, the college has a big library with all facilities.
Faculty: They try to interact with every student, and they can help after college hours also. The course curriculum includes industry visits and project-based learning activities which makes students ready to Industry. Teachers are very helpful, and each and every faculty are well qualified (master's/PhD). .

For the electrical department, the infrastructure is good. Faculty have good knowledge.
Placements: Around 75 percent of the seniors in our course are placed. The highest package received is 7 LPA. Companies like Tata Power, Atlas Co., etc., recruit students from our department. Some students get internships from the college itself, while others go on their own for internships in companies like DXC, motor rewinding companies, etc.
Infrastructure: Earlier, the infrastructure in our department was not so good, but this year it has been renovated to perfection. There is Wi-Fi in labs, and every classroom and lab has CCTV and a teaching board. The machine labs are well equipped, and the computers are well maintained with paid software subscriptions like MATLAB. The food quality in the canteens is above average. For sports, there is a huge football ground, the volleyball ground is good, but the basketball ground is not properly maintained.
Faculty: Faculty and lab assistants have proper knowledge about the subjects, but some faculty members sometimes teach irrelevant theory parts that are not much used in real-time applications. The course curriculum is pretty good, and the subjects are knowledge. The practicals are helpful and somewhat make students industry-ready. The mid-sem and end-sem exams are difficult. But they are manageable if we study well enough.
Other: I chose this course because I always loved to design and simulate circuits and make projects related to electronics and electrical systems. The best thing about this course is that it gives project-based learning every semester, which is helpful for learning new things with hands-on experience using electronics and electrical equipment and components. The events in KIT include Miraki, which is a fest or gathering organized every year. A sports week is also arranged every year, which includes all sports.
