Review of Maharaja Agrasen College, University of Delhi.

Placements: Around 30-40% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Oyo, Vistara, etc. Almost 40% of students got internships in many companies. Many IT companies visit our college to recruit students.

Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. All facilities are good. Our college has Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, a library, etc. The library is spacious. It has a good sitting arrangement. They provide classrooms for every course. The hostel facility is available for girls. The mess and canteen facilities are available in the hostel. They provide games and sports facilities.

Faculty: Our teachers are very good and very helpful. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They share knowledge about the topic. They give extra knowledge. This university makes students industry ready. Exams are not much difficult if students prepare by themselves. The pass percentage is 35%.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in computers and politics. Our college has the best teachers. They should provide more information because many students don't get the point of the topic. Many events like workshops, sports events, and cultural events are held in our college. Our college connectivity is good.

Life at Maharaja Agrasen College.

Placements: Students from final year are eligible for placements and the college gives internships to second year students. Around 50% to 60% students have been placed. The highest package is 4 LPA and the minimum is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, HCL, Mahindra tech, etc. 40% students get internship from my course most of them are in Wipro. Roles offered are data entry operator, computer operator, data management junior assistant, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is excellent. First of all, students can easily reach it because it is located near metro station+ bus stop. For computer students, facility of computer labs is available. Inspite of this, there is also an ICT lab for students for extra work and for information collection purpose. Classrooms are cleaned on a daily basis. Students can study in library. Many books related to the courses are easily available. The college also provides a hostel for girls with good facilities and excellent environment. Canteen doesn't offer a variety of food but their quality is good. There is a big ground for outdoor games like cricket, volleyball, kho-kho, football and also a basketball court. For indoor games, there is a gym cum indoor game room in the basement. It offers indoor games like table tennis, carom board and chess. In the gym, many equipments are available in working condition.

Faculty: Faculty is too good. All the teachers are supportive and helpful, not only in classrooms but off classrooms as well. Teachers teach in a well disciplined manner with the best examples. Semester exams + practicals are scheduled at the end of every semester. The college provides notices related to the examinations online as well as offline.

Other: I chose this course because the college provides computer as the main subject. The college also has a computer lab for practicing.

My honest review of Maharaja Agrasen College, University of Delhi.

Placements: Our college does not offer placement drives in the course. Some societies arrange to bring in some companies every now and then, but as far as my knowledge goes, they are like paying pennies. Roles offered are not very good, so I didn't attend that. Personally, I am working as a business analyst now for ERP integration.

Infrastructure: There is no boys' hostel, so I can't tell about that. Girls' hostel is decent, as I heard. Apart from that, infrastructure-wise, our college is one of the best among DU colleges. It has good and fully equipped computer labs. There are nice classrooms. The best parts are our well-equipped library, gym, and table tennis area.

Faculty: Teachers are very nice and cooperative, barring a few contractual ones. The course curriculum is fragmented and does not directly resonate with industry standards. Passing exams is not a difficult job. Practical classes are the best, where we get practical knowledge.

7/10 excellent for studying, not so good for sports

Placements: Still studying, but listening to my seniors and also seeing their placements and internship programs, they are good but also hectic and take a lot of time. Overall, it is still a good experience for them, but mine will be known in a few years as I am still a first-year student.

Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is good, but it has not been renovated. The basketball court does not have nets, the gym does not have good ventilation or proper weights, and the coaches also do not look after the players well. There is also a lack of communication between teachers and students.

Faculty: Teachers are good and nice, but they still lack certain things. They do not really push us to our extremes. We all see that good performance gets satisfaction, but there is no more encouragement for the same thing. The subjects that we are studying are really relevant to our future, and most of us choose subjects at random.

Other: Great campus, excellent for studying, not so good for student athletes, nice environment, overall great and can be much better.
