Great placement scenarios.
Placements: This college is known for having reputed recruiters on-campus like Cognizant, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, Intel. Some students have gotten placements from Microsoft and Amazon as well. The college will also provide you with many internship opportunities, majority of them starting from 3rd year itself. The average LPA for last year was around INR 6-6.5 LPA with the highest being INR 36 LPA. Unlike many private colleges, the placement scenario of core branches like mechanical, civil, ECE are also good.
Infrastructure: There is no air conditioning available for the regular classrooms but the entire programming lab is air conditioned. The labs are well-maintained and especially the entire programming lab department but 1st year students are not allowed to have access to the college WIFI. The seminar is air-conditioned, spacious and basically the highlight of their infrastructure. Few of my classmates who reside in the hostel have told me that the hostel is alright. Coming down to canteen, you will have a variety of choices and the food quality there is pretty good.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and their teaching techniques are just like you would expect from any good college. The faculty members in the first year (BSH department) are very much helpful and are always there for your doubts and queries. But the college is affiliated under Makaut, so the course curriculum is a bit outdated. Like if you're a student of CSE department, you'll have to study and have practicals on Workshop Manufacturing, Engineering Drawing, Basic Electrical Engineering which is one of the drawbacks of the curriculum because four years down the line, you won't need all these theories and subjects from Core departments but the college isn't to be blamed for it as they have to follow what makaut instructs them to. The semester exams are just like any normal college. The lab practicals are nice as well if you have a good attendance.
Other: There are many events held in this college including tech, musical fests etc. Paridhi which is the tech fest of MSIT, is something to look forward to. You can participate in variety of events like coding, robotics, gaming etc.
