Versatility is a beauty of Miranda House.
Placements: The highest salary package offered in 2023 was 21.5 LPA. The average salary package offered during Miranda House placements in 2023 was 8.97 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. Our college offers decent placements.
Infrastructure: Air-conditioned classrooms are available in our college. There is a top-class canteen. It is super affordable and serves good food. We have highly valuable labs with all kinds of affordability. Various sports with personalised coaches are available in our college. Our college has lush greenery and scenic views. It has wonderful student activity centers.
Faculty: Teachers are highly knowledgeable at Miranda House. They are highly qualified. Writing research papers with them is over the top. Practical learning and not confined to the classroom are highly applied. Assignments are conducted every day. Teachers are extremely helpful.

Completely satisfied with the college infrastructure, faculty, and the course I am in.
Placements: Most students who have applied for the placements are recruited. Top companies visit our college. Various internships are offered by several companies to the students, including Lernx, Wayspire, Microsoft, etc. The top placements last year were from our college.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are good. Labs for the Science, Mathematics, and Computer Science departments are very well maintained. There are water coolers, and an adequate number of classrooms. Open spaces are the center of attraction on the campus of Miranda House.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in nature and well qualified. Yes, the education imparted by them makes the students industry ready. The semester exams are not at all difficult in the college. The passing percentage is 33%. The teachers are very supportive both academically as well as in non academics.

I am absolutely amazed by the beauty of the college and the experience it gives.
Placements: The placement is average, neither too good nor too bad. It depends upon the societies you've been a part of, your role, and the relevant skills that you possess in the field you apply for. It also depends on your course. However, the placements are good because our college is number 1.
Infrastructure: Our college is known for its red corridors and lush green lawns. The campus is without a benefit of the doubt, and it's gorgeous. The college hostel is also good. We have 4 canteens in our college which offers a variety of food options and the taste is also good. There is Wi-Fi for students but people face network issues in college. Classrooms are also good. There is no air-conditioner in the auditorium. The authorities should look into it as a number of events happen in the auditorium. Apart from that, the campus of MH is the best.
Faculty: There's a reason why our college has been holding rank 1 for 5 consecutive years. The teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. The course curriculum is also relevant which makes students industry-ready. However, if they go for a master's degree, it's more beneficial for them because they'll gain more practical experience. The exams are difficult. Case studies are often asked. But if you've prepared well for the exams you are good to go. I am not so sure about the pass percentage but it may be 50%.
Other: Honestly, I chose this course because I wanted to get admission to Miranda House because of its ranking. But let's face it. The cut-off of DU is always high and in our time which is in 2020, it was 100%. I applied for the course as I was qualifying for it. The course is good. Had I had the option of other courses similar to my interest, it would have been more beneficial for me. The events and fests of Miranda House are the best. Crowd, connectivity, campus, surroundings, scholarship, and extracurricular activities are top-notch. We have so many societies in our college and all working in the best way possible to enhance the skills of the students.

Absolutely love my college due to excellent facilities, faculties and the quality of education.
Placements: I have no idea about placements as I am a second year student. I have recently shifted to Delhi and hence I am still adjusting to the college environment. But I am sure that the placements would be excellent as Miranda is India's number one institute according to NIRF ranking.
Infrastructure: Miranda House provides almost all the facilities including Wi-Fi, labs, library etc. It has a separate arts and science block for convenience. Apart from that, there is high scope for sports and all round development due to various active societies present in the college like Women development cell, Equal Opportunity cell, Queer collective, NSS, NCC, Spic macay etc. The canteen is hygienic and the quality of the food is also great and quite affordable. Medical services are available for students at all times. The infrastructure is quite aesthetic with lawns and red brick buildings everywhere. The classrooms are quite spacious and breathable with blackboards and smart boards.
Faculty: The teachers are excellent. They help the students as their personal mentors and are also quite frank per se. They also hold interactive sessions for better understanding and most importantly allow the students to keep their point even if the students are contradicting them. The course is quite interesting and relevant. Great stories and poems from different authors, having different morals, particularly in English and Hindi mould us to be industry ready. The quality of education in all is great.
Other: Apart from my interests in both the subjects, I wanted to pursue political Science honours and I took this course only for Miranda House. I don't even regret my decision. It is the best experience that one could get in terms of teaching, character development, fests and extracurricular activities. There is a strict anti-ragging guideline in the college and thus the campus is very safe. The college is inclusive of everybody. I like the course very much. Miranda is worth everything.

Q:   Which is a better college for BA and BA (Hons) courses: Hindu College or Miranda House?
A:

The following table mentions a comparison between both these top colleges of DU for their undergraduate courses in the field of Arts and Humanities:

College Name

BA Fee Range

Median Salary (UG 3-year)

Hindu College

INR 52,680 - INR 52,770

INR 6.4 LPA

Miranda House

INR 42,480 - INR 51,240

INR 6 LPA

Based on the details mentioned in the above table, it can be concluded that both these colleges are equally good and candidates can go for any of the two options where they qualify for admission. However, there is a minute difference in between the course fee and salary that the BA/ BA (Hons) passouts get after completing this course. But the gap is too small to be considered in rating a college better than the other. Miranda7 Hindu College with other colleges here
