National Institute of Fashion Technology admit candidates to MDes programme based on merit in the national-level design entrance test conducted by the institute. The aspirants who are Class 12 or equivalent exam pass can apply for the BDes course of NIFT Delhi. Additionally, students should not exceed 24 yers of age (29 years for SC/ ST/ PWD category students) as of August 1 of the admission year. National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi (NIFT Delhi) offers BDes and BFTech courses at the undergraduate level. NIFT admission 2024 to most of these courses is based on NIFT 2024 scores, followed by situation tests, personal interviews, and counseling. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of NIFT to apply online. In addition to UG and PG degrees, The entire tuition cost for the BDes programme at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Delhi is INR 10.80 lakh for the academic year 2024-2028. A one-time payment of INR 17,900 (refundable) will also be required at the time of admission in addition to the total tuition price. This one-time, refundable payment consists of a security deposit of INR 12,000 and a INR 5,900 membership fee for the alumni association.

The total fee includes various fee components, such as tuition fees, security deposit, etc. NIFT Delhi MDes tuition fee is INR 5.9 lakh. Apart from the mentioned tuition fee, candidates are also required to pay a one-time refundable security deposit and registration fee of INR 21,300. Candidates applying for NIFT Delhi have to register for the entrance test on the institute's website. NIFT Delhi admission to BDes course is based on performance of the candidates in the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) entrance exam comprising of a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT). Selected  candidates are then required to appear for the Situation Test, conducted by NIFT for BDes admission.

The National Instituite of Fashion Technology will release the NIFT 2026 at the time of seat allotment and counseling.

The cut-offs will be available institute and category-wise for all the program at nift.admissions.nic.in.

The cut-offs will be prepared by considering factors like the seat intake, the merit rank of candidates, admission category, etc. Note that if the seat intake is increase the cut-off would likely go down and vice versa.

NIFT Delhi offers a two-year full-time MDes course at the postgraduate level. NIFT Delhi cutoff 2024 has been released up to Round 5 wherein the closing rank for the MDes course stood at 25 for the General category students under the All India quota. So, candidates seeking admission to NIFT Delhi this year must secure a rank up to 25 to be eligible for MDes course.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) releases the official schedule at - niftadmissions. The schedule includes the event-wise dates related to the NIFT 2025 entrance exam. The late fee application window will open once the deadline to fill out the NIFT 2024 application form with regular fee closes. The start and last date to fill out the NIFT 2024 application form with late fee will be notified by the institute before the regular application form closes or sometime thereabout. The late fee for NIFT 2024 will be INR 5,000. The late fee has to be paid in addition to the application fee, which is INR 3000 for open category candidates.

NIFT 2024 tentatively in the 1st week of November 2023. The application form will open online at niftadmissions. In. The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) conducted the NIFT 2024 exam in two phases. The 1st phase included the written exams GAT and CAT.

The written exams was held on February 5, 2024. The scores of the written exam was used to shortlist c candidates for the 2nd phase, which will include a Situation Test (B. Des programme) or Personal Interview (PG courses).

The Situation Test was held on April 13, 2024, while the Personal Interview was conducted from April 1-6, 2024.

In order to apply for the hostel, students must pay INR 23,000 + INR 25,500 (INR 8,500 X 03 months = INR 48,500) before joining the hostel. It is air-conditioned and has twin sharing rooms with all the basic facilities such as an almirah, desk, chair, B.Ed etc. There is a narrow balcony and big windows which don't open. Strict discipline, curfews and good conduct are always maintained in the hostel. It's well connected to Green Park and Hauz Khas metro station.
