At the time of admission to the BSc programme of NIST Berhampur, selected candidates have to pay an admission seat confirmation fee and a refundable caution deposit. The admission seat confirmation fee at NIST is INR 15,000. The fee amount is later adjusted toward the first instalment of the total BSc fee, which ranges between INR 1.3 Lacs and INR 1.5 lakh. Additionally, students must submit a caution deposit of INR 5,000 which will be refunded to them after the completion of the programme. To be eligible to pursue the BSc programme offered at NIST Berhampur, candidates must have passed Class 12 in the stream of Science (PCB/PCM). They must have passed Class 12 under Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha or from a recognised equivalent board/council. Candidates seeking admission to the BSc programme under Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Technology Management specialisations must have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject in Class 12.
