Placements: 100% placement till now, the highest package offered was 15 Lacs, there are many companies but Cherry Hill is one of the top recruiters. It also includes Space matrix and many other companies giving good packages.
Infrastructure: All the facilities provided are HOSTEL, MESS, Wi-Fi, 13 hours of LIBRARY, CAFETERIA, MEDICAL, SPORTS CLUB, GYMKHANA etc. The best part is the college sports club and library, in the library we find a no. of books journals, papers, research papers, and mess food is of good quality.
Faculty: The best faculty available for any queries and they also relate theory to the practical field. The college trains you for the real world challenge and the problems faced in the industry and how to deal with them. The course also includes working with the new technology and how to deal with modern equipment.

I am satisfied with faculty members and infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 88% of the students got placed in the previous year. The highest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Companies like L&T, Suntech and Oberoi Realty are the top recruiters of our college. Students are offered with roles like planning, execution and valuation. In our course, the salary package offered is 6.5-3 LPA as per the information provided by our seniors. Students got internships in companies like Suntech, L&T and Oberoi Realty.
Infrastructure: Classrooms in our college are very pleasant. The college provides facilities like a library, an auditorium for seminars, Wi-Fi facilities and a projector. Everything is up to mark at the hostel. Mess food is also good. A canteen is always a place where we can have good food and can discuss any topic with our friends. Our college gives equal importance to extracurricular activities like sports, dance and singing.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are experienced, very helpful and have great knowledge about the subject which they are teaching. Their maximum focus is on placements and internships, so I don't feel that the course curriculum makes students industry-ready. We are only getting bookish knowledge.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have an interest in this particular field and wanted to explore it.

The college is good, which has the industry based exposure with the good faculty.
Placements: The placements on the campus are good. The good company visit the campus for the placements. The placement committee works well for the students. The companies such as consultancy, PMC, finance company(a few) visit the campus. The college has the good reputation in the industry. Many ex-NICMARians also visit the campus as a recruiter.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure on the campus is average because the sports facilities are limited. The other facilities are good. The mess service is good, but the food is average. The library, the labs, and the air-conditioned classrooms are good on the campus. Overall, the college infrastructure is good except the sports faculty due to the scarcity of space. The location of the college is good.
Faculty: The faculty members are good. The course in NICMAR is designed for the industry based demand. So, overall, the design of the courses are good. The faculty members are helpful. The courses or the trimester are hectic. Every trimester is of three months. Overall, the faculty and the curriculum are good.

Satisfied being a part of such a prestigious college
Placements: Placements were really good in NICMAR. Being the market situation so down there, still, NICMAR stands still as a lamp post in the industry. NICMAR really provides great opportunities and platforms to students to achieve in their career path what they dream for their future. Almost all good companies from the construction field visit NICMAR every year or alternate. Nicmar helps students in surviving the world to it's best as competition is so high and a NICMARian can face every hard situation if that is put in front of them.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. They believe in touching the sky. In spite of having a huge sprawling campus, all the hostels of NICMAR are high-rise buildings. As NICMAR is a residential institute where every student lives in the hostel itself have a feeling of staying more nearer to the sky where they can think of fly high. The departmental building is good enough as two to three floors each which is suitable in case of the college building. Badminton, tennis, a volleyball court and a playground are good additions to the campus. The library is good whereas the medical facility with a doctor and medical insurance help students allot. Power backup and security are awesome.
Faculty: The faculty team is knowledgeable or different from other colleges. They believe in realistic studying shares their own lifetime experiences with students. Videos related to construction from other countries are being played during classes. A wide set of motivation is being provided to students through those videos that is the best part of the NICMAR faculty team, The course curriculum is almost the same which every college has but the way it is presented in front of students in the form of power point presentations is really appreciable.
Other: The faculty team is really helpful. They not only help during studies but also help students while placements are going on. They boost confidence in students. If they found any of their students failing anytime during their career, placements or in life, faculty members always take stand for the students and help out of the box anyway at any time.

NICMAR - IIM of the construction sector.
Placements: NICMAR has more than 30 years legacy of 100% placements. They have a dedicated placement team. Since NICMAR mostly relies on its alumni who help them in recruitments so the whole process becomes easy. As we all know how difficult it is to get placed as freshers into the construction industries, but it is not the case for NICMAR. A couple of years have been difficult as far as placements are concerned but this was due to of downturn in the Indian economy and construction sector. Now with the several steps and initiatives taken by the government, the construction sector is set to boom again hence there will be a great rise in demand for the construction managers and techno-managers. Hence placements won't be an issue in the coming years. The 2015-17 batch placements were 100% on an average each student got 5 chances to sit in the interviews. Many got placed in top notch companies including big 4s, L&T, SPCL, Sobha LLC etc. A wide range of profiles was offered to the students including asst. project mgr, strategic consultants, planning, contracts, valuation, credit mgr, marketing and technical sales, etc. The highest package offered was 18 LPA and the lowest was 3.6 LPA. Overall, the median package was 6 LPA. As far as internships are concerned, 100% students were placed in around 100 companies.
Infrastructure: The college campus has adequate space to accommodate all the students. The classrooms are air-conditioned. The institute has a big library where one will find all the relevant material and also they provide an online facility where one can access journals, books, etc. The institute has all the sports facilities available both for boys and girls separately. The food quality is quite good and is very cheap. The rooms are provided on a single sharing basis with adequate facilities. Adequate parking space is available for students to park their vehicles. Till now, I have not faced any kind of infrastructure related issues in NICMAR.
Faculty: The faculty team in NICMAR is excellent and well-experienced. Each and every faculty members is an expert in their field. I have never seen such dedication from the faculty members anywhere. The faculty-student ratio is 1:10 which is quite good. PPTs are used by the faculty members to deliver the lectures. Proper and in-depth discussion of topics is done.
Other: The campus is located in Balewadi which is now the heart of smart city development in Pune. The college has a very sporty and peaceful atmosphere. From time to time, events are organised for the students. Guest lectures from various industry experts are organised to give students the gist of the industry. Various competitions intra-college and inter-college are organised from time to time. The non-teaching staff team is also very helpful and polite. Overall, NICMAR is an excellent place to pursue postgraduate studies.
