Infrastructure and the teaching faculty are excellent and up to the mark.

Placements: The total strength of my batch was around 55 and out of that 24 students got placed. The highest package offered was 4 LPA and the lowest was 2.4 LPA. The top companies were L&T and Tata Motors. Roles offered by the companies are trainee and cam designer with the basic contract of 3 to 4 years.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and all the facilities are up to the mark.

Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable and have good skills. The college comes under Visvesvaraya Technological University

Other: NIE Institute of Technology is very famous for its mechanical engineer course in Mysore that is why I chose this course. Providing more practical knowledge apart from theory can improve the course. Various extra curriculum and non-curriculum activities were organized. Scholarships for different categories are offered to eligible students.

I am partially satisfied because of the teaching and the facilities provided here.

Placements: Multiple seniors got placed in good companies even during times of the pandemic of Covid-19. Many companies visit the campus for placements. Our college has a very high placement rate for branches like computer science and electronics and communication.

Infrastructure: The labs of the branch are very equipped and are of the latest. They are also very well maintained, and the lab staff members are knowledgeable and helpful. The lab block is huge and has multiple different labs, including computer-aided machine drawing, material testing, etc.

Faculty: The teachers here are very knowledgeable and helpful. They have the highest qualifications. The course curriculum is relevant and helps students be industry-ready by the end of their four years in college. The semester exams are not extremely difficult, but they definitely challenge the students.

It is a good college for good placements in IT companies and joyful learning.

Placements: In our college, more than 40% of the students got placed in core companies. More than 60% of the students got placed in the IT course. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. In companies, managing and junior engineer roles are offered. In core, JSW, many production companies and steel companies offer placements. More than 98 students got an internship in companies like BHEL, Automotive Excel, TVS and Toyota.

Infrastructure: Our department has Wi-Fi. There are separate labs like machine lab, HMT lab, design lab, material testing lab, casting and welding lab, CAM and Ansys lab and CAD lab. Every classroom has smart boards with a connection of projectors with well-ventilated space. The library has lots of books, and there is a digital library with systems for research. The canteen prepares hygiene and delicious food, and we can visit at any time. A new hostel has opened on the campus with a separate building for boys and girls.

Faculty: Teachers are friendly to the students. They have good delivering skills. More than 5 lecturers are pursuing PhD, and more than 4 lecturers have a doctorate. All teaching faculty members have done M.Tech. Staff members are supportive and also very good at interaction. Our college is affiliated with UGC and works under Visveshwara Technological University. Hence the curriculum is prepared by VTU with new generation subjects like robotics, non-traditional machining and computer-aided design that are majorly used in companies.

Other: I have chosen this course because of my passion. Every year a college fest is conducted named Ignieit, which includes a fashion show, cultural activities, ethnic day, and also celebrate Holi with DJ. Webinars and conference are conducted by our college from reputed companies. The campus is lush green and creates awareness about nature by the NSS activities group. Any student can join it, and a blood donation camp is also done by our college. Scholarships are provided by the government for economically backward students and minor group students. Our college scholarship faculty members intimate and be in contact with students about the scholarship.

Our college infrastructure is really good. Campus selection is also good with good companies.

Placements: The campus selection is based on the performance of students in interview rounds and their CGPA. We will have campus training during our academics. Internships are selected by students, and we get a chance to do internships in good companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is really good. Since the hostel was built recently, I have no much idea about it. There is an incubation centre for medical facilities. Sports are encouraged and very well supported here. The food served in the canteen is also really good with varieties of food items. Students hang out in the canteen to complete their records or to spend their time.

Faculty: Teaching staff members here are highly qualified and use different methods to teach students. They make students understand the concepts, and they teach in a very easy way. The teachers are really friendly in the mechanical branch and clarify your doubts if you're interested.

Other: Events and fest are conducted every year grandly. Scholarships are provided based on students' application status. Our campus is one of the best campuses in Mysore.

Review of NIE Institute of Technology.

Placements: I don't know the percentage of students who got placed, but placement officer is very knowledgeable. They used to share a lot of skill sets to crack an interview and help us out. Many students from our course got an internship, but I don't know whether the college provides an internship or students arranged themselves.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, and it is improving. Mechanical labs were really good. Classrooms are good. Sports facilities were also encouraged, and a lot of inter-college competitions are conducted. Bus facilities were also available. But the problem was with the parking facility as the college does not provide parking facility for vehicles.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very supportive, and they will help you out in scoring marks. They also used to share application knowledge which is important for students. The course curriculums make the students industry-ready. We used to build projects based on engineering curriculum, and lecturers were encouraging.
